When did you start watching ER?

I started watching ER about a year ago. I was a huge fan, with emphasis on huge, of Jorja Fox (she played Maggie Doyle) and I asked a friend of mine, do you know when ER is on? And she told me the time and network and I got hooked. They're rerunning here all the time so I hopped in at season 6 or 7 and when I had this one quick look at Maura / Abby, I knew it. She's cute and well more than that. Gosh I love her so much and I would stop watchin ER if she'd leave

I didn't become aware of ER until it's third or fourth year, I mean I was only in fourth grade when it started, but I didn't truly start watching it until summer of 2004. WOW... ten years later, I'm slow. I guess season 10 had just finished, but I started watching the reruns on TNT that summer and I got really hooked on it. I was thinking to myself that this show isn't that bad after all. I had avoided watching it before because I thought I would just be too confused with all the medical jargon and drama, but then I got into nursing school and actually understood it. Besides that, the reruns I started watching I think were around the time of season 7, or 9, something like that. I couldnt believe how cute Luka was and how cool Abby was too. I liked them so much and I washoping they would get back together. Then season 11 started and I was still hoping they would hook up.. hehe. So around that time I made it mandatory to try to watch ER reruns so I can catch up and see what happened between season 6-10. I don't really like the earlier episodes because they were Lubyless. So that's my story, sorry to bore you.

I started watching at the end of season 11 but I didn't really get into it. Then i was in Florida in 2005 and i was flippin through the channels because adverts over their are crazy anyway ER was just starting and their was nothing else on so i decided to give it a try & it was non other than ep 12x07 the begining of LubyII . From then on I've been hooked since January 06 (the uk air date). I found disneyland and ER on the same day

About two or three years ago reruns of season 1-8 (I think) were aired, so somehow I watched it from the beginning, but not the first time it was aired (I was only 2 or 3 years old back then). I saw all those episodes twice or maybe even three times. Then I saw the end of season 10 (I think) which was the new season at that time. But then I stopped watching it, because my brother stole my TV from my room, and nobody would let me watch ER

I never saw season 9. I know what happened, but I never actually saw it, except for some videos.

Once I turned one my TV (I got it back after 1 1/2 years or so), I saw Abby, pregnant, and I thought "oh my god, what did I miss??" Unfortunately it was the last episode if season 12 -> Huuuuuuge cliffhanger. I was soooooooo angry.

At the moment I'm still hoping to get reruns of seasons 7-12.

I watched it on and off for two years but in 'the show must go on' I got addicted and that was...last christmas I think. on the holiday they sent reruns, from season 1 to 10[at season 8 at that point], and I became even more obsessed - even though all the Carbyness.

I think I´ve started watching it in 1995 or 1996. My sister was a bit addictive on it and I thought it´s another stupid show like Dallas or Dynasty But I got stuck And I love it

I started watching ER in 1995. My friend and I would watch ER every Thursday and discuss it at school on Friday. Other times we would talk on the phone while we were watching it. It was perfect she loved Doug and I loved Mark. We would pass notes back in forth in class about how hot they were. I stopped watching for awhile and started watching it again in 2002. I have not missed an episode since. And I've seen all the ones I missed since I have them on dvd.

I started watching ER when I was about 5 or 6 years old and I remember walking in my mom's room and she was watching ER and it was the scene when doug leaves carol and I thought it was intresting so I stayed and watched the epi and the rest is history.

My mum and dad use to watch it from the beginning but i use to walk out the room cause i just didn't get into it, and then i watched the episode b4 mark greene dies in season 8 and I was hooked but i have to say I was a carby at first cause i never saw luka and abby together and obviously season 9 revolved around carter and abby. but then season 12 came along and I turned luby and realised how much they were meant to be, watcing season 7 for the first time was a real eye opener and I started hating carter from then on lol. Luby is and always has been meant to be.

I think I started at about season 8..
Before I was too little.. I was in bed before ER begun. Well sometimes when I couldn't sleep or didn't want to sleep I came downstairs as quiet as possible and when my parents watch it I sat on the stairs and watch it from over there. I had luck that our TV is standing so, that I could watch ER, but my parents didn't noice me!
But I became an ER-Freak at about season 11/12. Since then I tried not to miss an episode!

I started in the season 12 when abby got pregnant, then i became a ER addicted and i started to see since season 5 in the warner channel mornings... but i had to study in the morning so i used to see at midnight... but they stoped play at midnight so i watch in the mornings again...

wow..can't believe I haven't said anything here...it's quite a long story...

My mom used to watch it when I was little (she loved the medical stuff since she's a nurse) but I hated it, I couldn't even begin to understand what she found so amazing. Later, I started watching it on-again, off-again since season 6 because I reeeally liked Luka. By the time they showed S8 here I was 18 and totally hooked. I remember vacationing with my best friend and the tv in our hotel room was broadcasting the channel on which E.R. was. "Hindsight" was the episode that made me invest in Luka and Abby since I didn't particularly 'ship anyone.

In February this year, they were up to season 10 here and I had no idea about spoilers or the fact that the show reached S13 in the States. I became so obsessed with "The Lost" (I actually thought Luka would die and I said to myself that if the hot guy is out, so am I) and started checking online to see what happens next. That's when I got across S12 plotline and downloaded everything. So it was Luka and Abby that made me stay totally hooked.

I used to hate too Andrejita!
I think that they showed to much blood and i was a Gilmore Girls addicted, but they started to show the promo with Abby falling when she was pregnant then i started with the repeat!

Actually the first time I saw ER was 'If Not Now' and it directly fall in love with the show , primarly because of Abby and Luka^^, but i was just 11 years old so i just saw a few epi's and then somehow I forgot it .
And then about a half year ago, i accidentelly turned to Pro7(that's where they show ER in germany^^) and saw the epi 'City of Merci' and i saw how amzing luka and abby were. So after that I wachted all season 13 and searched for the old epi's in the internet......sry my english ist really really baad =P

I watched it from the beginning, but stopped to watched it regulary in mid season 8! I don`t even remember why! But as they started season 12 here in Germany I was hooked up again and never missed an episode since then!
If you think about it the show is on since `94 wow that is alot TV history!
