Thanks for posting those pics, they are gorgeous! I think it's impossible for her to take anything less than a fabulous pic.

I'm being lazy at work and looking around at some of the old posts in this thread, and I just noticed the caption on one of those pics from the article on her house. Billy says, "We do everything outside." Knowing his tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, that really made me laugh LOL

ER finale party Thank you! I don't know which is the biggest? Maura's pout or her necklace! (Gawd I love it when she pouts ) Out of the observation... Does Maura play the guitar or is learning? Just her thumb nail is really long and all the other finger nails are short

Thanks for posting! Haha.. the necklace is undermining her beautiful face!! Look at her thumbs one has a (fake) long nail on it and the other one doesn't!

Don't like the necklace with rest of her clothes. But she looks great.

I'm not sure if this is the right place nor if this has been posted already but... I was just remembered when I first heard about MT's health issue, I instantly remembered those episodes from ER's season 12 with Abby her patient Stephanie: "Man with no Name", "Wake Up" and the little bit in "Dream House". You know what I mean? I know it's nothing, but i just remembered that.. and how life imitates 'art' but not in a good way Anyway, I wanted to say this to see if there was some other person who felt the same... or if I'm the only crazy one LOL

I get what you're saying. When I watch my season 12 episodes, I generally skip those now because it's impossible for me not to think about her real life situation. I feel the same way about that Rescue Me scene where Kelly jokes about Tommy giving her a mammogram. Even though it's fiction, it still reminds me of what she's going through now and that makes it sort of hard to watch.

Abby also talks about never having a mammogram, even though breast cancer runs in her family. I know that Maura is great now, and I am sooo happy that this is behind her. It just is so coincidental that Abby and Maura had such a relatable topic in their lives, even if Abby never got sick. The episode also means so much to me because Abby (Maura) helped women to see that it is important to have a mammogram. And Weaver (Laura Innes) is wearing the breast cancer scarf throughout the entire episode, which is so important.

I've had similar thoughts while watching ER recently. I saw a Season 9 episode today where Carter sees Abby smoking and says, "That'll give you cancer, you know?" and she's like "Whatever". Stuff like that takes you out of the fiction for a moment and makes you remember that these shows talk about real stuff sometimes.
