Funny-I just re-dyed my hair that color. I had to. It was starting to look grey-ish. My original is dirty blond. So when the roots start coming in, it tends to look grey instead. I can't have that.
Maggie-any sitings yet? There's an old record store in the Village. Somewhere around Bleeker/Christopher, I think?(not that it helps much). But it's not quite the mainstream/high-traffic of Virgin. I feel like that might be more Maura's style. But who knows.
I feel a Gawker.com post coming.

does anyone have any pictures of her with her braces, or invisible ones, or whatever they are...?

Yes. Like I said, they're invisible braces, thus the resolution on television was better, but here: Today Show, November 2006: You can sort of see from the View in May 2006 as well, the slight pout of her lips (moreso than usual) gives away something: IMHO, it's not likely many people would pick up on it unless they've 1) had braces for a significant number of years (I have) and 2) has spend a considerable amount of time studying every picture of Maura in circulation and can note the slightest nuance (I do, I can). Yes, I'm obsessed with her, it's cool, I know.

I love that little scar - I have a similar one by my eyebrow and another on my forehead. Subtle imperfections give a person all that much more natural beauty. Or in my case, something to put pink eyeliner over.

Yup she knows how to pick the right team.. go Mets! Ah! No, she's stated before she's Red Sox fan! It was held at Shea Stadium, thus the batting helemt.

Speaking of 'Oxygen', I saw an ad for another movie that used that reflection in the eye close up technique from a scene with Maura and Adrian Brody. I sent an email to the director of 'Oxygen"- Richard Shepard - and got the nicest reply from him. He said he'd like to think that shot originated with him but that it probably didn't. He did say that the one I saw was most likely computer enhanced. It took them 8 hours of filming to get the lighting and the camera right to get that single shot of Maura reflected in Adrian's eye....or was it the other way around??? Very nice guy, by the way. And what's with the empty basebal lstadium??? Were these publicity shots taken before the actual game or something?? Can't imagine that Detroit would ever play to a stadium that empty.
