Okay fols...here's the new fic.
Things you need to know:
Abby and Luka met during their internship at COunty so the got married somewhere in their mid to late twenties, im not giving specific ages so you can just kinda imagine them any way you want.
They now have one daughter named Mika (I KNow its not a traditional name of any sort and it doesnt have anything to do whith that singer dude,I just kinda like the name Mika Kovac. Mika is now 17 years of age,she volunteers at the hospital but her head edging more towards the arts than medicine.
This is a Luby fic but also a second generation Luby fic. ENjoy.

Chapter 1
*************
An 17 year old girl came confidently strolling into the ER. To say she was a knock-out would be an understatement. She was of medium height, had shoulder length raven locks that came down to her shoulders in cascading layers. Her eyes were intelligent and seemed as if they could stare right through you, they were the most amazing colors of green and grey and usually got darker when her mood did. It was her lips that got the most attention though, she had the perfect pair of lips, a slightly bee-stung pout that drew its fair share of attention. All in all the girl was a knock-out even more so because she had no idea how pretty she really was.
The girl spotted Frank at the admit desk barking orders at someone and also contributing his fair share of snark.
"Hey Frank", she said brightly. All the fight went out of Frank, he had a soft spot for this girl, afterall he'd been ther when she was born and snuck her donuts all thoughout her life growing up within the walls of county. She had him twisted around her little finger, but then she always had.
"Hello Miss Mika." Dont tell me youre visiting these bunch of ER losers again, you know they are all crazy right?" Frank pushed his box of prized donuts towards Mika as he was talking. Mika laughed at Franks supposed dislike for the ER staff, she knew he was just a big old softie. She had known him ever since she could remember, her parents had been working as ER doctors for almost 25 years, having done their internships,residency's, the whole lot at COunty.
"Nah, you know I only come to the ER to visit you Frank." Frank 'hmfped" but smiled nonetheless.
"So have you see the parental DNA strings?I really need to twist Dad's arm about that concert I want to attend with Michael"
He couldnt help it,he burts out laughing, "yeah right, your father is going to let you go to some band that probably cant even sing with Michael of all people. Besides I thought you were dating that...james...Jason,oh i forget what his name is."
Mika scowled at Frank, "Oh dont play dumb with me mister, you know full well Jimmy and I arent dating anymore, he kinda freaked after he somehow found out he was the subject of a background check. Now I wonder who do I know that's overprotective AND has connections at the police department? Secondly ofcourse dad will let me go with Michael,we've been friends forever and thirdly,well thirdly the band is called the Killers and they make rad music!"
Frank lowered his head in feigned innocence, "What makes you think it was me and anyway,he wasnt right for you anyway."
Mika sighed,"Honestly Frank, between you and my dad, Im going to die a vi...."
Frank quickly stuffed a donut in Mika's mouth, there were just certain things that doting "uncles" did not need to know. Thankfully their conversation was interupted by a naive intern, "Um Frank, any messages for me?"
Immediately Frank was back into sarcasm mode, "Do I look like your personal assistant?" He scowled as he answered the phone. Mika leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek, the big old softy.
"Hey M, havent seen you around these parts in awhile?"
Turning towards the familiar voice she smiled, "Hey uncle DOug.How are you?"
Doug smiled at his best friends daughter, he practically seen her grown up, as did most of the ER staff. Mika was kind of the ER mascott when she was growing up much to her mother's chagrin. "Oh you know,im fine, fending off infatuated females,saving lives,you know the usual."
Shaking her head she burst out laughing," wow, the females in the psych wards must be really crazy if they are after you."
Doug grinned,she definately got her mothers sarcasm, "Oh you hush up."
"And besides, you better fend them of or aunt Carol wont take to kindly to it."
Doug gulped, even the threat of Carol's temper,even in jest was enough to keep any man on the straight and narrow. "Fine gang up on me, here i thought we were allies."
Mika laughed, "Yeah right.So I was actually wondering whether Michael mentioned the concert to you?"
"Yes he did, he told me you'd be going to see The Killers?"
"Yup, he already got the tickets, now I just have to run it past mum and dad. Frank for some reason thinks they will say no."
Doug smiles when thinking about his son, Michael was a good kid, he was a lot like Doug was when he was younger which is probably why Luka was sometimes a bit worried about Michael and Mika's friendship, especially as they got older. Michael was 19 and studying at the local university and Mika was in her final year of high school. As of yet it seemed as if Luka has nothing to worry about.
"yeah well use that Kovac charm on your dad,you know he cant resist it, and if that doesnt work ,appeal to your mother's better reason ,she used to be quite the concert goer in her uni days."Doug said as he wistfully thought back to their lives on campus. Him and Luka were the proverbial ladykillers, neither one of them was in anyway bad looking, and they had enough charm to choke a boulder. Doug's trip down memory lane was interupted by his beeper, "Listen kid, I gotta run,lives to save. I think your dad is in the lounge doing "chief" stuff." Doug smiled slyly as he walked away, 'See you later kid."
Mika made her way towards the lounge, already prepping all possible arguments and counter arguments for her going to the concert. Opening the door she suddenly screamed covering her eyes. Uncle Doug was so dead. "Arrrg, my eyes."
There in the corner of the lounge near the lockers were Luka and Abby entangled in each other kissing each other within an inch of life. They quickly jumped apart as if they were two guilty teenagers caught making out behind the bleechers,"Oh god I think I might be scarred for life."
Luka looked at his daughter, he rolled his eyes at her melodramatic streak. Abby straightened her shirt and tried to contain her giggles, what can you say, after 20 years of marriage she and Luka still had it. Its not as if they were particulary old, they married when they were in their early twenties and its been an interesting journey ever since.
"Hey honey." Luka finally spoke.
"Hey guys, how was your day so far?"
Luka opened his mouth to complain about MVA's, inadequate staff and the so on when Abby suddenly inhaled sharply, "Mika!!!"
"Uh oh." mika knew what was coming.
Abby eyed the shirt her daughter was wearing, her shirt and not just any shirt, it was her limited edition Sex Pistols shirt. "Mika what have I told you about my T-Shirt collection."
Now it was Luka's turn to grin madly, this argument has been occuring ever since Mika was old enough to buy her own music. She would borrow Abby's old T-shirts and would then just conveniently forget that they actually belonged to the mother and not teh daughter.
"yeah I know,ask befor you borrow, sorry, but its just such a rad T-shirt.AND you donte ven wear most of them anymore."
"Yes but still Mika..."
Mika held her hands up in surrender, "I know okay,thats not why I came here for, I um,well I actually want to ask you guys something."
Luka stood up straighter, usually when his daughter came with that tone it usually involved her asking them something, something that usually involved a boy.
"Yes?" He said in his 'Dad' voice.
Abby eyed her husband and daughter eyeing each other up. She knew that eventually Mika would get what she wanted, Luka had no defences against his daughter.
"Well dad, you see there is this concert that i really really really want to go to, its one of my favorite bands and Michael already got the tickets so you know,I was just wondering whether I could go."
At the end of her sentance Mika lowered her voice in an almost questioningly pleading way and looked at Luka from beneath her long dark lashes, another thing she got from her father.
"And you say Michael is going?"
"Yes."
"And he'll be going with you."
Mika answered her father an an almost "duh" manner, 'Well yes."
Luka looked over at Abby, she smiled, she knew how protective Luka was of his daughter and he sometimes worried about her close relationship with Michael but up until know he hasnt given them any reason to doubt him. Abby discreetly nodded her head,letting him know it was okay by her.
Taking a breath Luka nodded, "Okay, but your back by 12 you got it?"
Mika's face broke out into a msile and she hugged her father and then her mother, "Thank you so much guys." And with that she exited the room as soon as possible before her dad could change his mind.
Luka looked at Abby, "She's really growing up now isnt she."
Abby put her arms around Luka's neck, "Oh my darling Croatian lamppost, she already has." Abby gave Luka a gently kiss on the lips.
Luka sighed into Abby's hair. "Hey, you know what, with Mika away at a concert we have the house to ourselves." He wiggled his eyebrows.
Abby mock inhaled, 'Dr. Kovac, are you proposistioning me?"
"Maybe." Luka crashed his lips onto Abby's. Yup they've still got it.

Besides, it rhymes with Luka: Luka & Mika; Mika & Luka...got it? Sounds good! Okay I think I'm blabbering...LOL.
Poor Jimmy. 
Dough and Luka in a same fic (my PC is going to burst in fire!)...and also LOOOOOved (again); when Mika walked into the lounge and found a couple of teenage Luka & Abby, making out! 
What a psycological trauma! 
Can't wait to see where this will go!
