This will be the first of many episodes without Luka and Abby. I think it will very hard at first (am mean, very hard!!) but am sure will all get used to it. I just want to see if we can review this episode without mentioning their names!! but Mainly, I hope we still keep reviewing each weeks episode, just because Luby has departed, ER is still going and for me it's still my fav show and worth talking about However, no promo for this week!! anyone??

I haven't seen any promo's, Ive been looking out for one but I guess people who used to post it up on like You Tube did it for Abby and Luka purpose... Anyway I will be watching this episode and the rest of the season... I am a faithful ER fan like you Christabelle...

I plan on watching ER to the very end. Even if Abby and Luka are gone now. I saw a promo on NBC the other day, but can't find it to share. Looks very intersting. I will try and find it, so I can share it.

I will most likely miss tonights episode because I'm going to a concert. I'm going to have a tape recording but it'll probably run out before I get home, since I'm not smart enough to have TiVo or whatever! I know my life shouldn't revolve around ER, but lately it has...as I'm excited for the concert but also bummed that its making me miss my favorite show! I've been a faithful ER viewer since Day 1, though it'll be hard to watch without Abby & Luka, I will.

Thank you!
I should have known it was that girl who record it with her camcorder of the TV... she did one the other week with The Book of Abby epi..
Maybe I should subscribe to her so I can get the (bad quality) promos for teasers!

Even if it kills me that Abby and Luka aren't in the future episodes, I quite enjoyed this episode. I liked how Neela was speaking with Ray (can't wait for the next episode where I believe he visits?) and I am starting to enjoy the character of Dr. Bancroft, she's still a mystery (can't wait till her character unravels more).

Well....with the 'heart' of the show gone, there was more of a focus on patients. I liked seeing Neela fussing with Ray again....could have killed Dubenko for passing on info about Neela to what's his name....HATE the blonde intern with a burgeoning passion....but am really warming up to Morris' intern - Sanchez??? He was SO cute telling Morris to get 'back in the game'....hee. And I was TOTALLY disappointed in Morris' ditching of Christine. What a two faced snob. Like HE has anything to be smug about? What's with that? And Bancroft's gymnast/sister story?? THAT was interestingly done. The girl playing 'Claire' was awesome...creepy and sweet at the same time. And I was glad to see Chloe Greenfield back with Stamos. They work well off each other. Watched Grey's in sort of entirety for the first time since Mer did the deed with George...years ago. All I could think about was how many of the domino surgery people had done a stint on ER already. Too funny.

I have to say that i really liked this episode. It surprised me. It was strange at first because the ER is so full of new faces and that brief second of Abby in the opener, really got to me and thats why i think the beginning of this episode was emtpy for me, felt like something was missing. I still expected her to come round the corner. However, i think i will survive her departure. It's going to be a tough transition but i think i will get there and as much as i say i will never like new cast members; somehow they always grow on me, Gates and Brenner area prime example. but that new intern will the glasses, still reminds me of Abby, i don't know what it is about her??
Going back to the storyline, there was the old feel of the patient doctor relationship, which nice to see and each character had a part in this episode. So for me anyway there is hope for the rest of the season.....
Also did you notice that Mum of the two girls in this episode was the same women who played the cop in New York back in season 8, when Susan when looking for her sister in the episode 'Brothers and sisters'.....did they really think we would not notice.
EDIT: just been on the AEB board and hardly anyone has commented on this episode, its so strange. i think Maura and Goran had a lot to answer for and TPTB should take note!!

I enjoyed this eppy even without Abby and Luka (*gasp*), although yes, at times it did feel hollow. I think Neela/Ray/annoying aussie are going to make for a very twisted little triangle and I'm not too sure I want to see the outcome. I still don't think Sam and Gates are right for each other. I was SO happy to see Sarah back! Hopefully we get (a more mature) Alex back soon, too. Loved the storyline about the tongue piercing, felt real. That girl CREEPED ME OUT, very well done storyline there.
Did anyone else notice Dr. Greene's voice in the trauma room at the end of the eppy? That part totally made my night!
