Totally unspolied again, so i wonder what this weeks episode bring..?? Is that a joke? I have been spoiled for weeks especially seeing the interviews Rhianna posted on that thread... PHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF—ANTHONY EDWARDS (“Top Gun,” “Thunderbirds”) COURTNEY B. VANCE (“Law and Order, Criminal Intent”) GUEST STARS—Dr. Banfield (Angela Bassett) takes a run to clear her head but finds herself trying to rescue a three-year-old girl from drowning in a nearby lake. Gates (John Stamos) tries to pull some strings in the ER to help his homeless war hero. Banfield is reminded of her own experience at County with Dr. Greene (guest star Anthony Edwards) caring for her son as she tries to save the young three-year-old girl from certain death. Meanwhile, the interns continue to struggle to keep up in the ER. Parminder Nagra, Linda Cardellini and Scott Grimes also star.

A great episode, Angela Bassett is such a great actress. It was so good seeing Mark back in the hospital and Kerry, Jerry and Romano that was a nice surprise. I think that tptb may have a few more surprises up their sleeves for us for the rest of the season, especially when Erique La Salle did the tribute to Michael Crichton before the show began. Although I miss Abby and Luka it was nice to see some of the old faces again. I am more hopeful now that there will be a few more old faces popping up in future episodes.
Abby.

The problem with the Angela Bassett character, despite her being a good actress she seems like a solo guitarist going off on her own with her stylized acting instead of more of a neutral doctor.
The above is a quote from another poster at another board and probably the reason why I am having difficulty settling with Bassett's character. I was glad to see that Mark put her in her place and reminded her that she needed to be the Mom in that trauma with her son. Dang, I miss Mark. I was suprised at how chunky Laura Innes looked....and I had to check Romano to see if he still had his 'real' arm. LOL Kind cool to see that VERY in character split second of remorse after chewing Greene out for missing his chemo. I miss Romano. And Gates kind of tickled me tonight. He - alone - has figured out how to work through Banfield's emotional mine field. LOL And Morris. Scott Grimes continues to roll out the wonderful reactions. Clueless about Abby leaving and now incredulous at Banfield's 'self punishment' to be working in the same ER where she lost her son. His face was perfect. And JERRY!! I miss Jerry. Wish I could say the same from Neela's intern. His story affected me as just plain wierd and kind of out of place this week. Gotta watch it again and just focus on him.

Loopyallie, you are absolutely right but EZTV is safe (until now) and you don't need (to buy) HJSPLiT to join the files.

This is the site i use all the time but it was on there this morning, so i downloaded it from another site, although i did have a feeling it wasn't going to work!! too impatient. Am downloading it now. Its just my speed in the evening is so slow compared to the morning. I can download it in 30 mins but it takes 4 hours in the evening. But thanks again...

OK is it 2008 or 2002?? Green, Ramono, Jerry, Weaver, Haleh, throw in Luka, Abby, Carter and all our Christmas's would have come at once!!
The episode started out quite slow but then Green open the doors to the ambulance and said, 'Hello...Am Dr Green', and i was hooked. But like he needs an introduction, we know who you are!! But again it turned out to be another good and emotional episode. Banfield grew on me, i think am starting to like her. I hate to say this but i cried at the end. Hopefully, now she will ease up a bit and smile!! my only concern is she seems to be over shadowing the other characters.
The flashback scenes were my favorite, more so to do with nostalgia. But it was so strange seeing these character's again but in a good way. They really made me miss the good old days of ER and what it used to be like and what it would still be like today if these characters hadn't gone. We should have an episode dedicated to flashbacks with all the old gang!! Now there is a ratings hit....
One more thing were have Chuny and Haleh disappeared too? I know Haleh was in the flashback but neither character has been seen since 'the book of abby' and IMDB listed them as 199*-2008. Have the left??

I HOPE not. None of the other nurses have the history to make it work with all these new people.

I thought I saw Chuny in a few episodes ago? Another enjoyable episode with Mark, Kerry, Romano and Jerry as guests, they all look "oldish" like Christabelle said the flashback scenes were great and sort of nostalgia touch to it, I made me fieel I miss the good old early ER days when it was it's prime. All Banfield needed to do was to let it all go... Must be hard to keep your sorrow bottled up for a very long time... Even Morris and Banfield had their headlocked in the second episode, they have been quite alright, She has been kind to him even when they were in the elevator in the last episode admitting his mistake and she empathisised him... I am not afraid to admit tat I do like Banfield, probably after this episode with her finally having the "release" maybe she will be more settled, I know she will be a firm boss but it won't run well if you are too laid back, just like one particular Chief of ER past seasons... Figure it who I am talking about
