What a minute....how does a black paraplegic in a wheelchair kidnap a white child who is being watched by doting parents...one of whom is paranoid that something is going to happen??? If this IS the story TPTB are choosing to tell, I will be VERY interested in seeing how it happens believeably. They could be 'jumping the shark' with this one.

Ok, You're over reacting. I didn't say Joe was going to be kidnapd, I was speculating that it could happen, since the indications point out this way. I don't know if it will happen, but both storilines with Eddie and Ames have to end at some point, i just ponited out a way it could end together. Hell knows, maybe something happens to Luka, or maybe it's all a misunderstanding (Don't think so though)

Oh no.. Why can't they be just happy with their baby ?? The have to marry buy a house and I don't know.. But not Drinking and others stuffs.. I really hope it will be a good end cause there is so many bad ends in ER... Carter's son, Mark, Abby's mother, Luka's family... STOP we want LUBY to be Happy !!

Ames is not paraplegic or in a wheelchair; he seems to have lost the use of his left hand but is otherwise physically unimpaired as far as I can tell from the trailers.

I sence a dark cloud looming, not just with the "kidnap storyline" but with Luby in general, i really hope im wrong and that i have been reading to much into the spoilers i.e Abby's back on the bottle and a depressed Luka. That does not sound like a good combination.
I really hope Luka and Abby can pull through all that they are going to have thrown at them in Season 13, because i really dont think my heart can take another Luby break up.

Ahhh....how did I miss that?? I thought he was more compromised physically. From the way he's carrying on you could be forgiven for thinking that. As for the drinking; I get the feeling that it was something they planned on but have reconsidered, perhaps because happy Abby has been so well recieved. A friend has wondered whether Luka's keeping all the Ames crap to himself doesn't perhaps have her thinking it's something else he's covering up (of the female persuasion perhaps?) and that that will be the source of the tension we knew very well the writers would come up with. Whether this being a little more low key suggests that GV has been pursuaded to hang around for at least part of S14 I don't know. Two sets of spoilers, both genuine at the time they were picked up I'm sure; who knows.

From TV Guide:
Luka finds Curtis Ames (Forest Whitaker) spying outside the family's building, but doesn't tell Abby; the doctors help a young girl who may have been raped and work on a patient with an ice pick stuck in his ear; Pratt can't fully deal when his brother officially comes out.
