Fine...I swore the last epi was the end of spoilers for me...but i just can't help myself (((
again with the copy/pasting thinggy - don't kill me
<<It appears Joe has been sick, but an MRI came out all clear. Abby drives and talks on her cell phone to what seems to be Luka’s voice mail. She leaves a message saying Joe is fine. It appears she has not been able to reach him and guesses he might be "at the hospital" (with his dad in Croatia, I assume). Abby goes through a red light as she hangs up. She and another car swerve to avoid hitting each other. Abby jumps the curbs and swipes a parked car but is able to stop. From what we have, she is panicked but seems OK. We hear Joe cry. He is in the back seat.
Later, Pratt offers to stay and help treat Joe instead of heading toward an ambulance. Sam doesn’t seem to think it is necessary. She says Joe is awake and crying and making purposeful movements, and Morris has it.
Javier is the new desk clerk. He is described as 20s with a Spanish accent and “openly gay.” Turns out he is from Dawn’s old neighborhood in New Orleans. He has seen Pratt’s brother Chaz and wants to know if he is single.
It is Neela’s first day back. She sees Gates and thanks him for the flowers and card. Gates asks about Ray. It seems Ray and Neela have been in touch as he sent her a letter the week before. Neela says as far as she knows, Ray is good, all things considered.
Katey is putting together a care package for Ray. She says she might go to see him in a few weeks. When she sees Neela, she “shoots her a look” and moves off.
The break room seems to be a salon in this episode. Some of the staff are getting beauty treatments from "Angie” and some assistants. Sam emerges from the drug lockup with a new hair-do. Morris says that it looks good on her and comments that Angie's good. If I am understanding correctly, Morris asks if Sam has found anyone who remembers Angie’s kid. Apparently he/she was treated in the ER, but Sam does not remember. Morris says Angie will be prettying him up for his last night with Hope.
It seems Pratt has gotten a football championship ring. It sounds as if he has gotten it from an old player who is down on his luck with an addiction to conquer. Frank admires the ring with reverence.
Pratt stepped in to defend Chaz against another paramedic who was pushing him around. Chaz is appreciative but would prefer to stand up for himself. Pratt understands; it is clear they have reached an understanding.
Later, Javier says next time Pratt has trouble with that paramedic, Pratt can hold him down, and Javier will hit him.
Moretti has returned from a research symposium. He tells Pratt they discussed importance advances in resuscitation of mice. He meant the conference was a waste, and Pratt gets his humor. Pratt welcomes him back and reports that Gates is doing well in ICU as he caught young Joshua’s diagnosis (even though I think Joshua diagnosed himself). >>
