yeah-i was wondering if that guy was getting confused about which epi he was listening to commentary for. but it'd be cool if there was commentary on "bill moves on". that has got to be the saddest episode ever. cuz you know the cast is really crying. sucks that maura didn't participate this time. but she didn't seem to enjoy it for those times she did do commentary. i'm psyched for the gag reel and deleted scenes. less than a week to go. woo hoo

Hopefully the other link was wrong then. I'm sad the other actors didn't do commentaries. 6 days!!

Just realized Stephen Root (aka Mr. James) is the voice of Bill on "King of the Hill". I was watching the episode with Maura's voiceover for a character, and wouldn't you know it, Andy Dick (Matthew) and Vicki Lewis (Beth) are in it, as well. It's dated 2000, so I guess they decided to make it a Newsradio reunion...?

Just picked up my Season 5 copy from Circuit City. If you mention that Target's got it for 27.99, they'll price match it. I went to Target first and they didn't have it. The gag reel is pretty funny. And there are some good Maura mess-ups. Can't wait to watch the eps with commentary. I know it's not the best season, but I still thought it was funny.

Aw, I'm watching the commentary for "Padded Suit" right now, and apparently Joe Rogan made Maura cry once. : [ Off to watch more.

I know! I really can't see her crying. But yeah, Andy and one of the writers were talking about this huge fight Joe and Maura had that resulted in her crying and no one knowing what to do. Andy called the writer a masogynist for hating women or something because he was laughing during it. Ok, done with my Newsradio dvd. Can't believe Lisa and Dave didn't end up together. But Paul Simms, I think it was him, said if the show had gone on he was planning on getting them back together. They also mentioned Rose Kennedy. Andy was talking about their dogs hanging out on the set, and then he mentioned that Rose was still alive, and that she had a part in his movie. He also said it was the funniest part of the film. They talked about how they didn't know they were cancelled when filming the finale. The next season would have been Matthew and Dave coming to New Hampshire. Stephen Root said he was pretty sure they weren't coming back because he didn't know how they could drag Maura back for another season. hm... that's all I can remember for now.

So I was too cheap to buy the DVD's (I have 1 - 4 and saw no reason to purchase s5 given that I've seen it) but my friend definately sent me a rip of the gag reel and OH HOLY MAURA it was fantastic. I can't put into writing the ones I loved, as they are all grossly inappropriate, but I have to once again make note of how phenomenal Maura is. She does this one ad-lib (both terribly funny and terribly naughty) with a total deadpan - doesn't crack so much as a smile until Lovitz bursts in and then she cracks up. Amazing. And Dave ad-libs a line that I also can't type but is stellar. Must. See.
