(My version of science fiction) I would love to see Chen back as Chief and be Pratt's boss..that would so cool..she had such a narky little personality and that is just what Pratt needs ...someone to keep him in line. I still blame Sam and her baggage for Abby's baby coming early so if the helicopter makes a return flight it can land on her and if she is copulating with Gates at the time...even better. I would like to see Ray come back with bionic legs and woo Neela and it is high time Chuny got some loving so she can hook up with someone..maybe the cop Hollis? Carter and his magic money should provide jobs for a few favourites and as long as he has his own lady love he can come back and open the Joshua Carter centre anytime. Luka and Abby need to re connect and it may take some huge tragedy to get them back on track....but nothing too serious. Okay so that is about it..I can wake up now.

A huge tragedy that isn't too serious? Suggestions on a postcard please ...
I'm probably alone in this, but I don't really care about the old characters. There are enough current characters who need some attention paying to them for me not to want to watch Carol and Doug smugging it up, or Chen bitching at anyone. I accept that Carter is inevitable. Hmph.
Wouldn't mind finding out what happened to Clemente though - apart from that whole hostage situation in the bank of course.

Either you're kidding or...what hostage situation?!?
I would like to see the others (few exceptions...ok, not few, just two) but, but only because my nature as a show off wants me to see their reaction when they find out that Abby got married...and to Luka. I would love to see Susan's especially but I do know it's never going to happen. Other than than...not interested. I mean, although I have nothing against Benton, him showing up would serve me no purpose.

Hmph.Naw...totally NOT alone in that, my friend. Nor am I interested in any new characters they may be contriving. It seems to be THIS production staff's credo to bring someone on, pique interest in them and then ziiiip....they are gone. Let's see....Munson.....Grady.....Eddie....Sam's beaus by the dozen..... Hope....Julia....and on and on and on. And they give us as a consistent recurring character.....Harold?

Another one. Playing doctor confounds Clooney By KEVIN WILLIAMSON, SUN MEDIA (Edmonton Sun) LOS ANGELES -- George Clooney isn't sure he'll scrub up for the final season of ER. Reports surfaced this week that the show's producers were hoping to bring Clooney, along with other original cast members, back for its next and last year. But yesterday, the 46-year-old Oscar winner expressed mixed feelings about the idea. "All this stuff came up on the Internet. I got calls yesterday, 'I hear you're going back to ER.' I don't know," he told journalists while promoting his new football comedy, Leatherheads. "It would depend on who asked me. (Executive producer) John Wells is a good friend. I have a funny feeling it's not really fair to the other actors on the show necessarily, but who knows? It's not something I'm against. Literally my office is about 50 feet from the ER stage, so there's still family there. It's not like I've gone away." Clooney originated the role of Dr. Doug Ross on the NBC series when it debuted in 1994. The producers are also hoping to land Julianna Margulies, Noah Wyle and even Anthony Edwards -- who died on the show but could return in flashback form -- for an episode or two. www.edmontonsun.com/Entertainment/Television/2008/03/15/5014256-sun.html

I've just watch the episode 'Dying is easy' and forgot about Abby's line at the end to Luka, where she talks about if something had happened to him on the roof with Ames, 'if we can get through this, we can probably get through anything...' Lets just hope that is true!!

Where we left off: Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) admitted he's afraid of commitment, but wanted to make his relationship with Betina (Gina Ravera) work, but she dumped him because she was tired of waiting around; Gates (John Stamos) and Sam (Linda Cardellini) argued over the treatment of a patient, then kissed; Neela joined the Ortho hockey team. What to expect: "Abby [Maura Tierney] faces the consequences of her drinking, which places her relationship with Kovac (Goran Visnjic) in jeopardy and causes her to question her future at County," says supervising producer Lisa Zwerling. "Kovac quits as an attending at County and takes a new job at a hospice center ... [and] Sam and Gates get hot and steamy in the hospital." Guest stars include Oscar nominee Hal Holbrook, Aida Tuturro and Stanley Tucci, returning as Dr. Kevin Moretti. There's a new permanent cast member, David Lyons, playing a cocky Australian attending, Simon Brenner. From www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/2008/04/06/2008-04-06_new_episodes_of_your_favorite_shows_are_.htmlWhy would they bring HIM back?!! Ugh!

I have teheory about Moretti coming back. Supposing Abby DOESN'T tell Luka about the ONS? Moretti comes back, makes an off hand comment to Luka - or Luka finds the two of them talking about it - and Luka is devestated that Abby didn't tell him. The lack of trust issues rears it's ugly head...again. I am NOT looking forward to the Yeti sharing the screen with either one of them, quite frankly.

I'm really hoping the reason Moretti returns is for the shocking reveal; that is, they find out that Abby never actually did the deed, but rather she was recalling her worst fears, as she was in an alcoholic blackout!

I may just be delusional, but I refuse to believe that Stanley Tucci is coming back. I haven't seen it reported anywhere else and until I do, I'm going to continue believing that it ain't happening and this writer made a mistake. The only way I could accept Moretti returning is if I get to see Luka break his foot off in Moretti's ass. That would be must see television for me.

I think Abby tells Luka about her ONS in "Owner of a broken heart". Because of this description in "Truth will Out".
ER TRUTH WILL OUT 04-24-2008 10:01PM
SOMETIMES THE TRUTH HURTS-AIDA TUTURRO ("THE SOPRANOS") GUEST STARS-Neela (Parminder Nagra) is upset after she finds out the aorta surgery on Sheryl Hawkins (guest star Aida Tuturro) has caused an infection. While treating a severely beaten Korean teen, Abby (Maura Tierney) discovers an even more serious condition. Kovac (Goran Visnjic) struggles to forgive Abby for her indiscretion. Dr. Brenner (guest star David Lyons) continues to ruffle feathers in the ER. Linda Cardellini, John Stamos, Mekhi Phifer and Scott Grimes also star.
So I don't think Moretti will tell Luka ( that's if Tucci shows up) Abby will. If Moretti is back maybe that's why she leaves early next season, can't work with the guy and is reminded of that night.
Or maybe she doesn't tell Luka who she was actually with and than Moretti spills the beans. Just more angst.

I'm really hoping the reason Moretti returns is for the shocking reveal; that is, they find out that Abby never actually did the deed, but rather she was recalling her worst fears, as she was in an alcoholic blackout! It doesn;t quite matter if she did it or not. She woke up naked in another man's house. So, she could've done it as well. All that matters is that she was in the position to cheat on her husband. As for Moretti coming back, maybe the author just listed all the famous guest stars that appeared this season.
