Hey there, I don't know. I am terrible in recognizing people in photographs or in the street. In two different semesters at UNC-CH I had two students that I could bet my life they were brothers or twins but they had nothing to do with each other, so, [ I also had the habit of switching their names which made me feel like the dumbest TA ever!] unless we have a 100% reliable source like starseed said that he is the guy she saw Maura with, I wouldn't bet my 5 cents about the old pics. [even though he looks very similar to our hunky Mr Maura!

Mr. Maura and the boy in the pictures is one and the same. Yes, he is the guy I saw her with. Sorry, I thought I had said that. Thanks for posting the pics to clear it all up, Martineke.

I am very sorry to say this, sometimes I just have to let the bitch out of me...
All you people collecting info and pictures (here and the other thread) of Maura's "boyfriend" AND his brother (!) is starting to give me the impression or lets say it is called borderline stalking...

I feel the same way. Posting pics taken by creepy papparazzi are one thing (keep the money out of their hands and maybe they'll back off) but posting PRIVATE photos is where I draw the line. Facebook has been fun for me and I have reconnected with a lot of high school and college friends. Now I am beginning to rethink my 'account.' I do not want to support or be a part of something that allows people to infringe on privacy. Sad.

Allie , I can get your point of view in one way but what is the meaning of a FORUM if it isn't a place where people can exchange information with each other . That's the place where fans meet each other and everybody is free to like some subject . Real fans won't comment pics in a bad way . And if someone do , then it's the job of the mod , to take some actions . And honnestly everybody who shares publicly pics on my space and face book are playing a dangerous game . I still see poeple who doesn't know how to make their account private . - muriel -

I especially didn't post the complete link to where Michael works or to his brother's myspace to avoid this kind of trouble. I just showed some pictures !
From now I'll play it safe and be just a lurker here. If you don't post any news then you can't post anything wrong, right !

It's ok you all can do what you like with forum because I have had enough, my 3 years of activity of this forum coming to a closure... I am going to say my farewell...

Aw dang. Sad to be losing people who have usually been true to what we try to do here. My feelings - and I am sure others feel the same - is that we don't encourage people to actively stalk. Lurking on someone's facebook to drag private pictures to share here crosses the line - in my book. Sharing information about work related news is different. That's public information out there. And we seriously need it because we are fans. This boy friend search has been a bit over the top. As much as we would like to be supportive of her personal life, Maura has made it clear that it's private and not our 'business.' Let's be respectful of that and give her that space.

I have to agree with Larue on this one. I'm sure that if Maura wanted this to be public, then she would have stated it in an interview. Finding pics of Maura and whoever he is together that the paparazzi took is one thing, but going to his facebook and taking pics from there and posting them here, is very inappropriate.

Is anyone else on my side here? This is really starting to annoy me. I didn't go to his facebook, I don't even have it myself so I don't have access to it! I got the link from someone else. I just posted some of the pics and left out all the private information. I even re-uploaded them on my own picture account to avoid showing private information. I'm not even sure if the other guy is his brother.
If you post a pic of Maura and her boyfriend kissing then you become the TDWD-hero. If that isn't invading someone's privacy then I don't know what is.

I´m on your side Martine. I just wonder how much privacy someone who posts personal pics on internet expects. This is going out of proportion. Let´s come down people. I´m a huge fan of Maura, but to tell you guys the true, the chance of any of us here "hurt" her (or her boyfriend/his brother/dog...) with a post doesn´t bother me, I doubt she even knows our existence so what´s the chance? But giving a hard time to a fellow poster - who´s here and makes so much to "spread Maura´s love"- as I say -, makes me sad. One agree, other doesn´t - that´s fair, that´s life. That´s what makes life not boring, thank God. But let´s move on, folks. Now, 2 last things: 1 - We really need news/ episodes of Rescue Me and Parenthood. 2 - Fans of Maura unite! (just love this sentence)
