It was awesome, Fe! She had one scene with Damien in front of the firehouse where she makes a date with him, and then she had a wonderful, long scene with Tommy when he shows up at the restaurant in Damien's place to tell her to leave Damien alone. They just talked, but it was such a well-written, beautifully acted scene. You'll love it. I'm sure Martine will have the clip up really soon!

LOL. That scene with Tommy was ALL Maura The Bowie love, references to Ron Howard and CLOONEY!!!! I was rolling. Especially cute when she leans across the table and squints into his eyes. He had NO clue what she was up to or how to take her. LOL

Thank you, Martine!! My favorite little moment from last night was right after Kelly says that she would fold Bowie's walker up and do him (LOL!) and she just looks at Tommy and smiles. It's like the first 'real' smile we see from her and it was just gorgeous. Just a little touch like that, showing that she's comfortable with Tommy now and isn't so annoyed or repulsed by him - that's the kind of stuff that puts Maura on a whole other level as an actor. She's amazing.

Not sure if this has been posted or not> But NJ.com, saying some really nice things about Maura. (*) How great has Maura Tierney been, by the way? Because she spent so long on "ER" playing a dark and often depressed character, it's easy to forget how funny she was on "NewsRadio," and how vibrant and sexy she can be when given the right material. (One of the funnier parts of listening to the commentaries on the early "NewsRadio" DVDs is hearing, time after time, a male participant doing his first commentary track pause at his first glimpse of Tierney to say something like "Wow, Maura was really hot back then!" It happens constantly: actors, writers, and NBC executives all quickly become smitten with mid-'90s Maura. I'm glad she got to play this part before having to deal with her current medical situation, and I hope she has a good enough outcome that she can quickly get back to work on "Parenthood."www.nj.com/entertainment/tv/index.ssf/2009/08/rescue_me_david_longer_can_be.html

Poor Kelly, Mike traumatized her to the point she made Damian promise he would not sing...
Have to say she was soooo right - Mike is as brainless as possible. He didn´t do her when he had a chance, he certanly won´t sign any contract and he´ll lose the bet. Duh

It was great. Any Maura in the preview for next week? Unfortunately not. I posted a link in the Rescue Me spoiler section. Poor Kelly, Mike traumatized her to the point she made Damian promise he would not sing... Have to say she was soooo right - Mike is as brainless as possible. He didn´t do her when he had a chance, I love the way you described it Sissa. He really is brainless to mess up a chance like that. My favourite line in the episode was when she was talking to Tommy at the restaurant: Maybe I could smoke some of that ganja I got in the box and turn you into god damn George Clooney. Hell yeah, she'll need it
