I think the pins are a really cute idea, and I love all of the hard work that you guys put into them, but I just don't want to walk up to her looking like some stalker who wears a picture of her on my shirt. I mean I'm not saying that's what we are, but wearing pictures of her is a little sketchy to me. I would rather show her something cool that I made or a picture or something. I don't know. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a bitch. I support everything you guys do here, the pins just aren't for me.

you don't have do get a button, i guess main idea was to use them for identifying tdwd-members at maura-events, or am i wrong? i won't get a button either i guess...depends on how it will work. btw.. how will that work? someone makes the buttons and send them to the members?

As Larue said in the original post, it would be a way for forum members to identify each other and they could easily be taken off after the show if need be. I don't see anything sketchy about that.

Yep, it would only be a good help to find other TDWD members. And everyone can decide for themselves to wear them or not. I like Dianne's last button but I hope the pic is safe to use. I hope a few more people will give it a shot. So far, no-one seems to be going to the play in LA so maybe somewhere in February we could vote. Once we've done that, I think it might be easiest that everyone just prints the pic we voted for and makes a button of it herself (or himself, are there any guys on the forum? )

Yeahh... I wonder... But no, grrls come on, most of the guys only look at big boobies and a fat ass Hihi that's the explanation I have for it Or maybe they think she's too boyish?? (her looks; not always a big masonry on her face, makeup, not always a cute too-short-dress and the perfect barbie-face) (which I think she has ofcourse, not too much of Barbie and not too close to Ken no overreacting haha) But seriously, if she was my girlfriend, she was purrfect haha ;DOkay enough now, about the buttons, I think that's the best solution, from Martine, just print it out yourself, you can choose the size, if you're a SUPER ÜBER FAN you can make a whole t-shirt of it, whatever u want And glad u like them Martine =)

I wasn't thinking BADGES at all......even though I initially offered to make them with my badge maker. I have a collection of 1"- 2" pins (that got started with a visit to Newbury Comics in Boston) with snarky and non-snarky captions. I switch them on and off my denim jacket. I would wear one with Maura's pic on it all the time without another thought. However, a bigger one I might reconsider. And my point was that we have some identification to one another - and to her - that we are part of a supportive fan club. What's the big deal about that?? But it doesn't have to be a badge. Yellow ribbons and pink ribbons are already taken. Maybe a narrow purple ribbon tied loosely around a wrist?? Or maybe black - since she tends to wear black alot???
Oh...and by the way, I LOVE the one in the bottom right corner. But where did the picture come from?? Is it subject to copyright infringement? Printing it soley for use might not be an issue. Sending it to a button maker might be.

When I was a kid, I used to wear tons of buttons like that - they were all of Boy George/Culture Club and I was extremely proud of them LOL.
I'd have no qualms at all about wearing a button with Maura's picture on it. Like Larue said, we're talking something small where we can recognize each other - not a button the size of our heads with a flashing neon light on it LOL. I'm driving 12 hours just to see her, some people are flying halfway across the world just to see her - I don't think she'd find us wearing a button in support of her to be more strange than any of that LOL.

Like Larue said, we're talking something small where we can recognize each other - not a button the size of our heads with a flashing neon light on it LOL. We would surely draw Maura's attention wearing that Or like Dianne suggested we could make a T-shirt of it Or why not a huge flag, we can wave all the time during the play ;D ;D ;D Just kidding. I'm driving 12 hours just to see her, some people are flying halfway across the world just to see her No kidding! Who'd be so crazy to do that ?
