I'll see what I can do- I know that the time is limited after the play as to how long people have to talk with her I just hope that I can talk to her at all!

yup, i see...so just do it if you feel like it and if you have enough time and aren't too nervous i'm not angry if you don't tell her.

My tickets just arrived in the mail!! So excitinggg! And the best part is that there are no assigned seats so the earlier I get there, the closer I can sit!! I did Will Call for mine and my husbands, what can I say, I'm frugal! I just need to find out what time the box office opens and then get there early.

I have the picture that was taken of me after seeing her in Three Changes in Sept 2008, and want to tell her that seeing that picture was what inspired me to lose 40 pounds and grow out my hair. I also want to compare pictures if I get to have another one taken.

They've been renovating the theater where North Atlantic will be performed in NYC. The site says it's a 299 seat space, but the pics make it look a bit smaller: www.bacnyc.org/gallery-jrt/Yeah it does look small. but that's ok, it will give a good view lol. Still wondering, is anyone going to watch it in L.A?

I was crusing around to see if I could find a copy of the script somewhere and found it in book format (with four other plays) at Amazon.com. I ordered a used copy for $3. Can't wait to read it and try to figure out what Maura is going to be doing. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/1555540074/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

That's a great idea, Larue - I did that a few years ago when I saw a friend in Cyrano de Bergerac and it was really helpful when I finally saw the play. Didn't occur to me to look for North Atlantic. I definitely want to pick up a copy, thanks for the link!

James Strahs, the author of "North Atlantic" also published "North Atlantic" (and some other stories) on the following website: homepage.mac.com/jstrahs/. So, you are free to download or to view it. Please be warned that the available version may not be the most recent one (please read the author's comments carefully).

Thank you Marco! I wonder who Maura will play! If anyone finds out or for the people who see it in LA, can you please let us know which character she plays? Thankss!

Good night.....just read part of it. WHY can't she do something easier to digest? You make me very curious Larue, what's hard to digest? Do you know what part she will play? Perhaps you could explain some more using the 'spoiler' button.

Yes, I'm curious as well, Larue! I'm trying to decide if this is something I want to make the trip to NYC to see. From what you've read so far, do you think the play will be good?

I just read the entire thing on the web site. Its crazy, wierd and funny and dramatic at times...lots of references to race and sex that I find offensive but I am not 'cool' when it comes to that. And there are also a lot...A LOT...of sexual innuendos. I would be very curious to see how it plays out on stage. I can see that an actor or actress would want to do this kind of stuff. Also...as I posted on another thread....if you can swing it, go to the play during the week. Crowds are thinner and you might have a chance for a longer conversation. I went on a Tuesday and a Wednesday night.

I skimmed through the play - definitely a lot of sexual content and innuendo, as Larue said. It's not my cup of tea as far as that goes, but Maura will no doubt do something fun with it. And the chance to watch her work, no matter what the work is, will be awesome.
