I agree - thank you for sharing your experience with us, Suus. I'm sorry you had to go through it, but so glad you're well now. And ITA, Martine - I know we hoped she wouldn't have to go through chemo, since some people don't, but now we know and we can move on, as her statement said, to the "next phase of life" with her. I'll post some more info on the Paypal/flowers project this weekend!

I felt like I want to respond to this too, because maybe it feels a little bit different when you kind of had such an experience (based on losing your hair), and absolutely not my meaning to say 'look what I had' or something... It really was to just share my feelings too, but it's a little bit weird when you leave some things out of your message, if you know what I mean. : ) Thank you for the link Paige!!

And it is a very confusing website, because when you click the same link again, another picture comes up. I noticed that too. I guess they're doing this on purpose. After all the play seems very confusing too. I just finished reading the whole story and I still can't make head or tail of it. But thanks to the pics I think I know which part, or parts will be for Maura

Suus, am so glad that you're well now to, thanks for sharing this with us. If anyones knows what Maura going through then it you! I can only imagine what it must have been like, to lose your hair. I've often wonder how i would feel if i lost my hair (especially this way). Part of me thinks, its hair and it will grow back but the other part knows that i would be devastated!! For women, i think hair is a big part of our identity, but am glad to see that it is not affecting Maura and she wearing her boldness with pride!! But it does look as thought its starting to grow back?

I especially like the 2nd and 5th ones - she cuts a very striking figure in that second one, and you can tell she's smiling in the fifth one. Love that. Thanks, abby_road!

It seems like so much is going on with all of these photos, and that only adds to the excitement that I am feeling to see this show! I don't want to read the script beforehand, because I want to kind of go in not knowing anything, and then I plan on reading it afterwards to maybe get a better understanding of what is going on. She looks cool in the blonde wig too

Okay guys, should be pretty easy for us to collect money for Maura's flowers through Paypal. I'm happy to do it for us through my account if everyone's comfortable with that. www.paypal.com/You'll log into your Paypal account (it's free to sign up if you don't already have one) and click on "Send Money" at the top of the page. Then you'll put in my email address in the "To:" box and my address is: TaraS1DZ@aol.com Put in the amount you want to give, click on "Personal" and then click "Continue" to complete the process. *And just an FYI, it looks like the fees for sending money (for personal reasons) are around 3% for those of you here in the States and around 4% for those outside the US.* We can start collecting money right away and let's have a cutoff date of February 8th for all donations. We'll have the next week to work on figuring out what we want to send, then I'll place the order for us on February 9th for delivery to the theater on the 10th. If anybody has questions, just email me at that address or PM me here. Can't wait to get started on this - I think it'll be great to let Maura know we're supporting her and thinking of her on opening night since none of us can be there.

I'd love to give money for Maura's flowers, but I can't pay by Paypal, since I don't have a creditcard...

When you sign the card make sure you include the site's web address so she can check it out if she so desires. Maybe just to find out exactly WHO TDWD are. LOL
