Well, I just picked up "Abby Normal" for $20.00 plus shipping. I consider it a pretty good deal. Glad to see he's decided that scripts sitting in his warehouse and not selling weren't doing him any good business wise.

I noticed that he had two episodes listed that I hadn't heard of, but when I looked them up they were just alternate titles of some S8 episodes. The two he has listed as "Hard Rain" and "Seven Sinners" are "Partly Cloudy, Chance of Rain" and "A Simple Twist of Fate".
I got "No Strings Attached" - I know, I know, a Carby script LOL

Hopefully the seller will make rent next month thanks to us. Had he or she just started the scripts at $20 or best offer they could have sold out by now.

Darn you Tara, *that was the other script I really wanted! I love that episode! Maura does such a good hangover in that one.

LOL! Well, I'll gladly type up all the Abby stuff when I get it. Or if you'd rather have a hard copy, just PM me your address and I'll make a copy and mail it to you. But don't worry about missing the hangover scene - that one is in "A Boy Falling Out of the Sky" (which I really, really wish he had available!). "No Strings Attached" is the one that ends with her at the store buying the booze. I don't know why I didn't go ahead and buy "A Simple Twist of Fate" since it has that great scene of Luka beating the crap out of Brian at the end.

Don't feel bad, I didn't even realize which episode "A Simple Twist of Fate" was until I was walking downstairs to leave for work this morning and then it hit me like a lightning bolt - "Duh! That's the one where Abby gets assaulted and Luka beats up Brian!" Why that didn't click in my head last night when I was buying a script, I don't know. I've only seen that episode a zillion times and have all of Maura's episode titles burned into my brain LOL

Got my scripts today already, have not had time to read through anything yet, but one script did belong to a make up artist. There are stickers on the top right corner of the cover page and 2 of the three had the sticker ripped off, so may be it was in the hands of someone on screen. Wishful thinking.

Sorry for the double post, but I read through 2 of the 3 so far...
OK, so the first draft of “The Longer you Stay” was WORSE than the version that finally made it to air. I knew Jack Orman was not a fan of Luka and Abby, but it seems to me he just hated them as a couple (stupid man). There were 2 mentions of Taco John’s in the episode, I’m thinking that was product placement that was dropped or denied. The band that Carter was treating the members was first called "Beyond Repair" changed to "touching wood" in the final airing.
Scene in Luka’s loft. The discussion about the expense of a bigger fish tank was originally written about the TV most of that scene is the same just the direction not for Abby at the end of the scene is “well then, if he’s decided for me.”
Entering the bar the greeting is the same, just the men Luka met at lunch give Luka a “Thumbs up” after seeing Abby.
Abby: did I just get 2 thumbs up? Luka: I think so Abby: I could like this place
That is until Nicole shows up, or Yelena in this draft.
The big fight is very different, Luka actually ends up walking Abby all the way to the door of her apartment, As they are fighting on the EL platform the “married to a ghost” line is missing and the “not pretty, not special” line is missing too.
L- If you are not sad, depressed or ashamed you’re just angry. Note: Abby suddenly feels the rage she reserves for her ex-husband A- Screw you Luka!! L- Yes. Now who can’t use words right A- Screw you
The break up moment initially played out in the hallway of Abby’s apartment
A- Why don’t you just dump me Luka? L- I think you want me to A- I know you do. So do it Neighbor : Hey, Shut up ! A- you shut up ! L- Fine I give up A- It’s about time L- Carter can have you A- Good. I’ll go screw his brains out ( so glad that was cut) L- You do that
Now the deleted scene on the S8 DVD
The script note have Abby restless in bed, she’s too wired to sleep even though it’s 3 am. She picked the fight and she knows it, she debated calling Luka. First she accidentally calls the hotel. The she calls the correct number and Nicole answers (notes say the B--ch from the bar (hee hee) and Abby hears other voices, Luka is having a party Note says - she’s going to sleep feeling guilty & he’s partying with his new friends.
After Luka says hello in to the phone the note is … Abby hangs up rolls over. Effer. Abby rolls back turns off lamp.
Next will be “Secrets & Lies” that had some Luby goodness that was cut.

It is the first draft of “Secrets & Lies” is not too much different from the final cut but there was some good stuff involving Luka & Abby that was cut.
The opening scene when Abby wakes up has some interesting script notes.
After he asked it she was cold the note: They stand there for an awkward moment, Kovac in flannel pajama bottoms and a T-shirt, Abby in thick socks and an old Penn State sweat-shirt. Somehow she manages to look fetching, even in the morning. He fights off the thought.
After the joke about the coffee Luka makes heating through your stomach lining the note is. They share a smile, the memory of many past mornings just like this-- except for the couch.
There is another awkward moment when she passes him to go to the bathroom, there is not eye check by Luka in the first draft.
L- there’s a new toothbrush in the drawer, you can have it. A- Thanks…. For everything.
Note: it’s still there, the thing they had. They both feel it. Then she closes the door. Off Kovac unsettled.
There are no mentions of Abby trying to smoke in the class room, but Carter being an arrogant jerk was there from the first draft. Gallant’s twin sister had the name of Sarah, so for those keeping track, that character had three names- Sarah, Susan & Valerie.
With the discussion about Carter’s money, Abby really jumps on him about how he had money but his life was so horrible, saying that he’s never been poor so he will never understand why people get so fixated on money he would never have to be awake all night terrified that your landlord is going to kick you out the next morning and tells him not to talk condescendingly about people who are poor.
Carter’s line to Luka about why he’s still her and not back in Croatia seems to suggest he’s trying to get it out of Luka that Abby is the reason he’s still here. Note says Carter’s still edgy over the Abby on Luka’s couch thing. Is pushing it. Kovac smiles, deflects it.
During the boys fencing scene: After Abby talks about not trying to force chemistry
Susan: Chemistry wasn’t there with Luka? A: The sex was great. But sadly, sex isn’t everything S: (grins) you sure A: Pretty sure Later in the conversation S: why didn’t you and carter happen A: I was with Luka S: Timing is everything isn’t it A: Yeah
The losing of the virginity contest after Luka say it was his wedding night and says it’s a good memory. Note: Abby goes, sits beside him. Takes his hand in hers.
L: I’m okay.
This script was written by John Wells, being the main man on the show and all, he seems that he was planting seeds for the Luka and Abby reunion more than the crappy pairing, sorry I mean Carby pairing. Then Orman must have got his opinions in there.
Hindsight is next, not much for Luka and Abby info, but some very telling info.
