Yeah, same here. I can't understand why they would continue to invest money in episodes that won't even see the light of day. Unless it has come down to a contractual obligation where they are legally required to see the first 13 episodes made, regardless of the series being cancelled.
In any case, what we see is still going to be up to ABC.

TomDonaghy_ Hope #ABC airs all 13. Hit them up, tell them! #thewholetruth is for sure on the 5 Wednesdays in Dec. with great eps and guest stars.
So it's possible there are three episodes we won't get to see. I really hope ABC doesn't do that to us.

I'm really not bothered about the possibility of not getting to see a few of the episodes. My only disappointment would stem from the fact that it would mean missing out on more Maura.

I honestly can't see them doing that since they've probably already done a good portion of those episodes already, so why waste them? Maybe, and this is just a guess, if TWT does come out on DVD, maybe they'll put them on there if they decide not to air them on ABC.

Really can't see them putting one season of a cancelled series out on dvd unless there is a HUGE outcry from fans......so where do we start screaming and whining and digging in our heels?? ABC or production company???

NBC cancelled their hospital show Mercy last season after just one year and they did release it on DVD. But that show got a full season rather than just 13 episodes. If we'd gotten a back nine order for TWT, I think we'd have a decent shot of getting a DVD release. But I guess they probably won't consider doing it for just 13.

Directly from Rob Morrows' Facebook page:
~Hey gang, thanks for the kind words of support for twt. Abc is saying they will air 6 of the last 8 shows starting the first wk in dec for 6 consecutive wks. So if you're hanging around during the holidays try to catch them. As for the last 2 eps, one of which is a "flashback" to all the characters beginnings, they r not scheduled. As always, I am reminded that the goal is to enjoy the experience and not the result. In that regard, this has been a huge success and i will enjoy working w/the great mandy patinkin, who is guesting this ep. Onward...xxoo, Rob m~

Wow.. those 2 pics are amazing! Maura is such wonderful! And that's right that she is the sexiest attorney in N.Y. But for me she is the whole world's sexiest one!
