www.tv3.ie/xpose.php?video=31674&locID=1.65.68 There it is. I don't know..don't really like the interviewer (word? ;D).. It's always the same questions about ER.. And it struck me again when Maura said "Well, i'm still here".. I HATE when people ask her so...out of the sky about her breast cancer.

It kind of bothers me when people just ask her about it, but then again, it is their job. And she doesn't seem to mind it that much anymore. She pretty much answers everything. I hope she is having an amazing and relaxing time in Ireland. She really deserves to unwind and let go. I know she is working, but this is still a fun and easygoing time for her.

She pretty much answers everything. Yeah but she simply said "I'm still here". For me it sounds like she wants to end it fast and talk about something else...anyways, I won't talk about that anymore, it makes me crazy ;D

OK here's the Maura stuff I posted in the news thread: cailincymraeg.wordpress.com/2011/01/25/jdiff/..... Launching the festival programme, in a packed Tripod venue on 25th January in Dublin, were award-winning actors Maura Tierney (ER, Liar Liar), who is currently in Dublin for rehearsals of God of Carnage at The Gate Theatre, and Charlene McKenna (Raw, Dorothy Mills). “I’m incredibly honoured to unveil this years’ film festival programme – It’s a world class line up,” said Festival Dirtector Grainne Humphreys at the launch.

www.herald.ie/entertainment/aroun....ra-2511328.htmlFORMER ER actress Maura Tierney will be hitting the road later this year to explore what Ireland's countryside has to offer. The American star played the character of Abby Lockhart for more than eight years on the hit show before leaving in 2008 and is now planning to make the most of her free time by exploring her Irish roots. Maura (45) is due to remain on Irish shores until the middle of March in order to take on a role in acclaimed production God of Carnage at the Gate Theatre, but admits she is already contemplating extending her visit so she can do some travelling. "I obviously want to do a good job on the play so that's my main priority, I'd like to see the countryside a little though and maybe travel the country a bit," Maura told the Herald. FUN "My relatives are scattered a bit so I don't know where I'll go, but yes I want to try and do a bit of sightseeing and get to know the city of Dublin a bit better, too. "I'm in Dublin until the end of March. I probably will stay on for a while after the play. I've no plans for any more work but I might just hang out and have a bit of fun." Maura went on to explain how her latest acting project differs enormously from previous roles which have not been as dark and says she can't wait to get her teeth stuck into it next month. "It's about these two couples whose children have fallen out and they get together to try and resolve it in a calm manner," she explained. "They don't succeed very well, it just brings out the worst in everyone. "It is different for me because the character is more subdued, certainly in the beginning anyway, than I am or could be. It's a more complicated character than my ER role." FESTIVAL Maura stepped out to Tripod on Harcourt Street last night to officially launch this year's Jameson Film Festival alongside talented Irish actress Charlene McKenna, star of hit RTE drama RAW. Among the big names due to attend this year's festival next month are Kevin Spacey, Emilio Estevez, Martin Sheen, Ken Loach and Aidan Gillen. Guests at last night's launch event included Anna Daly, Lisa Cannon, Aisling O'Loughlin and Mr World Kamal Ibrahim. Also in attendance were top model Alison Canavan, who stepped out for a night on the tiles with her American pal AJ Celi, star of E! Entertainment's Married To Rock. lnolan@herald.ie - Lorna Nolan ___ Twitter: Xposé On Wednesday 26th January 2011, @tv3xpose said: TONIGHT: Former ER star, Maura Tierney talks about trading doctors scrubs for a stint on stage, we're checking out the best trousers on the highstreet and we're chatting to Ireland's hope for an Oscar next month. All that plus Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are first-time parents today, we've the details coming up on TV3 at 6 and 3e at 6:30! ___ Means she'll be on TV again tonight? ____ Can't watch it. Only the ones who are in Ireland can watch it. I'm SO pissed Edit: Twitter: TV3Xpose Xposé @therikekoehler Sorry about that! It'll be on our website later so have a look then on tv3.ie/xpose! _ hehe _____

I love that there is so many new interviews/pictures with Maura Thanks for posting these! Also, i kinda agree that the question was a little annoying, but the woman was trying to do her job, and Maura handles everything amazingly
