What horrible quality of the video. I just hope that it comes up again, but much better edited. It was nice to see Maura again though, and she's still messing with her hair!

Hi there everyone, thanks for the video and the pictures. Does anyone here know how to read lips? This is the worst video I've seen in a long time. They should be ashamed to post this on line. It is awesome to see Maura though.

Thanks for the link Karsen! Yeah the quality is horrible but I hope a better clip will show up later. I posted a comment under the clip, we should all do that Anyway I converted it to an AVI clip. If you want it you can download it here: www.yousendit.com/download/dVlvT0NldzhCTWxMWEE9PQ

I’m glad to know it wasn’t my computer, the sound is horrible on it. I agree that we should post a comment on the site. The only thing good about this clip is seeing Maura - she does look good.

A little trivia about Mae Whitman - she played the little girl who broke her leg season 3 of Friends when Ross hit her with his racket (TOW Rachel Quits) .

And then played his adorable daughter in 'One Fine Day'. I mean Clooney's dgtr....not Ross. One lucky kiddo!

Oh my gosh.....how much MORE can they possibly replicate 'Brothers and Sisters' ? But I guess sharing a meal is a typical 'family thing.' LOL Why? Do American's eat separately these days? lol! I guess it's just me being melancholy. When my parents lived nearby we had dinner together several times a week and people thought we were wierd to do that. My hubby's family get together for major holidays and that is all. My parents moved 8 states away so we are lucky if we see each other once a year or so. Sad that my kids have not grown up with a closer extended family. Just watched the video and it was fun....but a waste of THEIR time. Awww. It appears that she and Craig T have some affection for one another already....and it also appears that she has taken care of the misbuttoned shirt. LOL

I tried to listen to that horrible video again and the only tidibts I could make out this time was that Craig T. Nelson wants the show on Wednesdays, and they didn't seem to know exactly when shooting on the additional episodes would begin. Can we please pray that they'll be shooting in LA sometime in July so I can wander onto the set while I'm out there for a week? LOL

So today's the day! We find out what night and time Parenthood will get on the NBC schedule! I *should* be working, but of course I'll be monitoring all the TV sites so I can get the info for us ASAP, LOL. Looking at the other networks' schedules, I think I agree with Craig T. Nelson that Wednesdays might be the best night for it.

The good news is that Parenthood will be on NBC on Wednesdays at 8pm! The weird news is that after the Winter Olympics in February, the new show Mercy (about nurses) will take over Parenthood's slot. Does that mean Parenthood only got a 13 episode order and will have its "season finale" like in January or something? That sucks. Especially if it's successful and gets picked up for a second season because then we'd have to wait from Jan/Feb to September for new episodes, which could totally kill its momentum and hurt it in season 2. I'm confused. www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=20090519nbc02

Maybe in January, they'll change the day. ABC did it last year with Private Practice!

That's a good point, Fe.
Someone on another board told me that NBC wanted to air as few reruns as possible, so Parenthood could get a full 22 episode order and be able to air all 22 episodes before it had to go off the air in February for the Olympics. That would be great, but if it was picked up for a second season, I'd still be worried about what it would do to the momentum of the show to have it off the air from February to September.
I know, I know, I'm jumping the gun here, worrying about season two when the first episode hasn't even aired yet LOL
I think Wednesdays at 8pm are going to work nicely. Its competition will be the So You Think You Can Dance results show on Fox, two new comedies on ABC and possibly the NCIS spinoff or some other new drama on CBS. Parenthood is very different from those things, so it could definitely stand out in that time period. *fingers crossed*

Or maybe....when NBC finds that their 5 night 10 pm Jay Leno 'experiment' is going to fall flat they will transform their schedule to make room for their smash hit - 'Parenthood'.

I think Parenthood's timeslot just got even better. CBS's schedule came out this morning and they have two comedies, "Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried" in the 8pm hour. Neither of those shows get huge ratings. And with ABC trying two brand new, unproven comedies in the same hour, I think we have a fantastic shot of Parenthood being really successful that night. Go, Parenthood!
