I don't think they have the clip up yet on VH1, but you guys are going to love that interview! It was fun, informative, the interviewer let her talk, they played a little game at the end, it was great. And she mentioned her significant other. Well, the interviewer asked about him, and she answered.

OMG, the significant other is the thing I've been wondering about for months!! just want to hear that she's still happy in love.... this would be the cherry on top of everything like 'cancer-free', 'healthy', 'awesome' and 'beautiful' ^.^

The interviewer said she thought the story of how Maura found the cancer was actually kind of sweet and sexy, so Maura said that she found the lump and then her boyfriend found the lump, and that he sat her down and said he wasn't moving until she made a doctor's appointment. So the interviewer thought that was great, and she asked his name and Maura said Michael. It was short, but overall a much better, much more relaxed interview than yesterday, IMO.

At the end, they played a game called Maura Myths or Facts and the girl asked if it was a myth or a fact that Maura was an ordained minister, and she said (as we knew, of course) that was a fact and that she had married her friend Julie & her husband, her brother & his wife, and that both those couples were still together, but that she married a third couple that didn't work out. But she didn't mention Parminder by name, LOL.
They also asked if it was a fact or myth that her first major role was in a movie called Dead Women In Lingerie and she said yes, but the interviewer could tell she was not exactly thrilled to be discussing that, so she moved on, LOL. It was fun. And I kept thinking how good we would all be at that game.

ahhh, Maura is always so discreet and diplomatic ^.^ and finally a host who did their homework and who was tactful!! I thought those were an endangered species ^.^ Dead Women in Lingerie is so bad that it somehow seems good ^.^ the dialogues totally crack me up every time ^.^

I sure did. This video prolly cost me a few years of my life but here it is finally, LOL.
B.t.w. I also thought about Parminder when she mentioned the marriage that didn't work out. I actually didn't know she married them. (or how do you say that?)

Yeah, remember we got pics of her, Parminder, Scott and Linda at the wedding? Where she had the tattoos on her hands?

Oh Martine you made my day. Do you know what I loved? hear those crazy stories, she is very unique, for sure. She certanly doesn´t need Andy Dick to have taxidermy squirrels. HAHAHA I wish I could see them. Google images has some very funny images - including one band of squirrels hahaha Right now I´m praying she gets tons of scenes with Alan Cumming, because to me he is the best thing in the show.

Thanks so much for posting that Martine, I had set a tape but for some reason the sound on VH1 was not working this morning. That really was a good interview, very nice work by Carrie & the interns. And I loved Carrie at the end saying I love you, come join us over here Carrie and gush with the rest of us.

Yeah, remember we got pics of her, Parminder, Scott and Linda at the wedding? Where she had the tattoos on her hands? Yes I remember those but it never made me realise that Maura actually married them or I had never heard about it somewhere. All the more proof that Maura and Parminder must be really close friends Too bad for Parminder it didn't last
