I thought I would go ahead and put up some info about this movie, just in case any photos or other info turn up. It stars David Morse, Cory Monteith (from Glee), Brandon Routh (Superman) and Ciaran Hinds. According to Twitter, Maura was shooting scenes in Philadelphia over the weekend, although IMDB does not yet have her listed as part of the cast. Here's the film's IMDB page: www.imdb.com/title/tt2295564/And a description of the premise: When narcotics detective Eugene “Mack” McCanick (David Morse, “16 Blocks,” “The Green Mile,” “The Rock”) discovers that a seemingly harmless young criminal, Simon Weeks, has been released from prison, it triggers a firestorm of paranoia and violence. Mack and his partner, Floyd, mercilessly hunt down Weeks for unknown reasons over the course of one long, hot day. The closer Mack gets to his prey, the more we understand that his frenzy stems from a truth from the past, which only Weeks can expose. The truth is revealed in the explosive finale, an urban chase sequence to rival that of “The French Connection,” which culminates in a surprisingly emotional confrontation not just between McCanick and Weeks, but also between McCanick and himself. In the tradition of the great cop thrillers of the ‘70s, McCanick is at once a rousing action film, a rich character study, and a battle for one cop's soul.www.thefilmcatalogue.com/catalog/FilmDetail.php?id=13384There's also a Tumblr page, with some pics from filming, but none of Maura: www.tumblr.com/tagged/mccanick

Very curious about this movie, but from what I have heard and read about it I'm afraid it's gonna be a small part for Maura again. Let's hope I'm wrong!
At least she's listed on IMDb now and we know she'll play 'Jenny Morris'.

Well, IMDB doesn´t mention her, so let´s hope they didn´t cut her part... Anyway, looking at those pics above I have to say Maura, like no one else, rocks wearing white shirt. First Trailer for 'McCanick' Starring Cory Monteith in His Final PerformanceAugust 15, 2013 01:38:03 GMT The action drama from director Josh C. Waller will make its debut at Toronto Film Festival along with another Monteith starrer, 'All the Wrong Reasons'. Cory Monteith's second-to-last movie, "McCanick", has been added to this year's line-up of the 38th Toronto International Film Festival, and its exclusive first trailer for the Canadian event has made its way out online via Deadline. As seen in the video, Monteith, along with David Morse, is the lead in the Josh C. Waller-directed pic. Monteith, who died of mixed-drug toxicity July 13 in Vancouver, plays drug addicted criminal Simon Weeks, whose release from prison triggers paranoia and violence in Morse's detective Eugene McCanick, who has a secret in his past only Weeks can expose. Penned by Daniel Noah, the film also stars Ciaran Hinds, Maura Tierney, Mike Vogel and more. Director Waller reveals that Monteith was initially not the kind of guy he was looking for to play Simon Weeks. "In my mind, I was envisioning a teeny little drug guy [for the role], but Cory Monteith is this tall, strapping man," he said to L.A. Times. As it turns out, the "Glee" star was able to change Waller's mind. "But when I met with him, he wanted to do it so badly," he recalled. "He was very vocal about his past, and said he wanted to tap into things from his youth that he hadn't been able to use as an actor yet." Another final film of the Finn Hudson depicter, "All the Wrong Reasons", will also make its debut at TIFF. www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00063168.html
