I saw this on Bleuprofond/Messageboard credit goes to JD 09/12/06 Extras Needed for “ER” Male & female extras are needed for “ER” on September 15-18. All ethnicities & ages. Call the Ambassador Talent Hotline at 312-409-4429 for additional information. www.illinoisbiz.biz/dceo/Bureaus/Film/Events/ Update: JD called the number, you leave your description and contact information, you must have open ended availability all 4 days. There is a production meeting on the 13th or 14th, they will then learn what they need and make call-backs. They do know they have a need for a caucasion infant and a black male child. They are also looking for drivers. Debs X

wow, I didn't know that. I always wondered how they did scenes for the exterior moments because people who watch it would automatically know that they weren't in Chicago! That's actually really cool. So, you know when you the Exterior shots, you know the ones that are on top of the Hospital, are they filmed in Chicago?

I know some of the roof top scenes are done in LA. When I went on the Warner Bros. Lot Studio tour, they took us a to a parking lot that had the rememnants of a Red Cross because they had apparently used it as the roof at one point and just wrapped an extremely large painting/background thing that copies the Chicago skyline.
