Gotta wonder what her Mom and Dad think when they see her in a movie - on the BIG screen - doing a scene like that. Heh.

I also though Gina giving him "directions, do and don´t stuf", - and on top - was an indirect way to show that she was the one who chose him and she was going to give the terms of the relationship. He was not using her, and she was not the "poor old me, recently divorcee". Guess, I also think a lot about those films Add me to the list of Maura fans who were surprised with the scene. At that point, probably, because she doesn´t like that Dead Woman... movie. But, thinking about it now (that I saw all her the parts of this awful movie - thanks to Martine ), I bet she doesn´t despise the movie because of those sex scenes, but because it is just really, really bad.

It must be weird seeing your kid doing stuff and would you find it kind of weird that if it was your wife, hubby or partner doing such scenes... I wonder how people feel when they see their other half an actor/actress kissing away.... Does it make them insecure? Must be awful if the scene was really hot (in bed i'm talking about ) and what if the other half says "But why don't we do that? How come you never did that to me?" I also though Gina giving him "directions, do and don´t stuf", - and on top - was an indirect way to show that she was the one who chose him and she was going to give the terms of the relationship. He was not using her, and she was not the "poor old me, recently divorcee". Guess, I also think a lot about those films Her brother didn't seem to like it that she was with him, she told him that she is having a good time for once in her life... Good on you Gina

I think Billy said Maura/James scenes were hot and excited him. I´m still trying to find the "picture" of the couple having sex in that woman´s shirt. Any help? Now, if I were Billy, or Maura, I would get a house plan to wear and have some fun. Thinking about it, I may try this one day. Oh my, her dad and mom watching it must be sooo odd. I would be red head to toe.

Good on you Gina I had to cover my eyes for that clip!! OMG!! Maura!! i wouldn't show my Mum and Dad that, no way!! it would have to be a blockbuster hit and make millions before they ever saw that Am thinking that maybe she had a body double for that scene??

I don´t know when her divorce was final (my bet is january/2006), do you know the exact date? IMDB still says "filled for divorce" or sth like that.
Oh my, they lived together for 17 years... Anyway, I´m sure they had good moments.
Do you know that song "can´t you see" (from Scotland PA)? I always think about Billy when I hear it. Mostly because I´d rather think he´s the one who was crushed by their separation.
I'm gonna take a freight train, down at the station I don't care where it goes Gonna climb me a mountain, the highest mountain, Lord, Gonna jump off, nobody gonna know Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman, she been doin' to me Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman been doin' to me I'm gonna find me a hole in the wall, gona crawl inside and die That lady, mean ol' woman Lord, done told me goodbye Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman she been doin' to me Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman been doin' to me Gonna buy me a ticket now, as far as I can, ain't never comin' back Take me Southbound, all the way to Georgia now, till the train run out of track Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman, she been doin' to me Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman been doin' to me
Am thinking that maybe she had a body double for that scene?? Christabelle, I don´t think she has doubles for her scenes. And I think someone said once before (Pandorama, I guess) that Maura in fact doesn´t use anything even to hide part of her breast. What can I say? She´s no shy.

Am thinking that maybe she had a body double for that scene?? It's actually Maura's body... Not the first time she got naked in a movie..

Anyone who watch Desperate thinks that Maura looks like with Dana Delany? Seriously, every week when I'm watching DH I got impressed. For me Maura is her with 10 years older.

I don't watch Desperate Houswives, but I agree with you! Everytime I see pictures of Dana I'm reminded of Maura. Glad I'm not the only one who sees it.

I liked "Diggers" quite a bit, not only for Maura's role, but the entire ensemble. I wasn't impressed by Sarah Paulsen's character - she was too submissive for my liking - but the interactions between the male leads was very well-written. It made it far more enjoyable than a happily-ever-after ending.

I didn't find Sarah Paulson's character to be THAT unappealing. It was pretty consistent for the times considering she had been a very young mom and the women's movement wasn't that progressed at the time the story was supposed to be happening. I had a MUCH harder time with Lozo's abrasive, angry character . She wasn't submissive as much as tolerant....kind of like in a real marriage. As for me...I was ALL about Cons. Hee hee.....drugs aside his was the most lovable character of all.
I just finished watching Maura's performance in 'Out of Darkness' - the tv movie she did with Diana Ross in 1994...the year before she started in NewsRadio. It never ceases to amaze me how she can hold her own in the face of those 'bigger' talents. Dang. Actually steals scenes from Pacino, Gooding, Hopkins, Travolta........
