That is good to know, considering he joked about having been a womanizer in that one, which doesn't sound like anything he's ever said in an interview before. I wonder if other "interviews" in which he's "quoted" that sound just as out of character are not credible either. Entirely possible. However, as I don't personally know the man it's not possible for me to say which quotes are in and which are out of character. Inconsistency may be part of his character after all.

I never claimed to be a journalist - just found articles written in the Italian press that were based on the permissions the production company got from the city.

None of us may know his private character, but his public interviews over the past 8 years have been quite consistent IMO up until July of this year. I would say if he's doing Bond, or they are considering him for the role he would not do a reality tv show. Those are not for actors who can land A list movies, nor would one help him get cast in one - perhaps the opposite.

Oh my gosh ... just got back from taking my daughter to school and I can't believe what I'm reading! Unless this is being done for charity, please, please, please ... let this be a rumor. The interviews regarding the paternity issue put quite a few nails in his coffin regarding his opportunities as an actor. If he does something like this, he will actually seal the coffin! He should have just stayed with ER until the end and repeated over and over again ... no comment. Perhaps then we would have seen him make the transition from TV to screen, rather than the jungle. His father already proved he should be his PR man, perhaps he should try his hand as an agent for his son! Bad choices all around for Goran, it seems.

And people may, if they feel their backs are against the wall, say and do things they might not otherwise do. They may give their wives free rein to answer on their behalf or just, you know, lose it. I'm not sure how much damage recent events will have done; it isn't exactly all over the press in the US (or anywhere else other than Croatia by all accounts) and people have got away with worse, but I have to admit to not being an expert on the extent of the film industry's hypocrisy or how much attention they pay to moral outrage aimed at a not terribly well known actor. Should we perhaps guard against allowing discussions here to drift too far off topic.

What, you mean he has some self determination? She isn't forcing him to do it?
Is it actually really impossible to resist dragging her into this?

If this is true then it is work, nothing else and I dare say he has been away filming before so this is not unusual. Debz

Hee ... If this is the kind of stuff he wanted to do, he didn't have to leave ER. I'm sure Maura could have hooked him up with Rogan for Celebrity Fear Factor.

However, unlike Abby, I think Maura actually hates all reality TV - although I think Billy watched Survivor. However, unlike Goran, she has carefully been setting up her post ER career by making two movies this summer, both of which will hit the box office as she leaves the show. Clever girl.

True, although I would put folding money on Maura departing during S14. The parts in the two movies were not large, but the films are likely to be box office successes and neither will do her any harm at a point when she is promoting her availability.
On the other hand, Goran appearing in "I'm a Celebrity" (and I so hope it's not true) will do him no favors at all.

Knowing how Maura feels about working, I would LOVE to be a fly on her wall the first morning she wakes up without an ER contract and no job. Hee. Some of us might be feeling a certain bit of freedom but I wonder what would go through her head?

I'm sure Maura is very pleased of what she has done with the character she's been playing for the past 8 years or so.
She has said in some interviews she loved her job at ER and she coudldn't think of a better job, however she never stopped doing movies which has been very wise.
I think she'd be sad because the show ending (if ER ends on S14) or her participation ending (as she said in an interview S14 would probably be the last one for her), however she's demostrated she can handle her career in a good way.

This is another article where Goran is mentioned:

Just in case the link doesn't work, here's is the note:
Richard set for the jungle? Be the first reader to comment on this story
Right Said Fred's Richard Fairbrass is apparently set to jet out to the Aussie jungle for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
TV execs hope the 53-year-old - who was made famous by the song I'm Too Sexy and recently appeared in adverts for Daz - will be a big hit with the viewers, reports the Daily Star.
An insider told the paper: "He'd certainly camp it up around the camp fire.
"The other stars won't know what's hit them. Richard's going to be fabulous."
The hit ITV show, to be fronted once again by Ant and Dec, will broadcast later this year.
Other names tipped for the series include ER actor Goran Visnjic, Cosby Show star Tempestt Bledsoe, musician Gene Simmons and former model Koo Stark.
Last year's winner was former Busted star Matt Willis. Runners-up included Jason Donovan and David Gest.
