How reputable is that magazine? i think it's highly unlikely that Goran would directly come out and say "I'm going to go" just like that in the middle of the season.

Hey it's a pretty huge magazine in Australia but that's not to say they can get it wrong...or misinterpret information. But if Goran is staying why isn't he announcing that..why is staying so silent up to now..contract negotiations maybe the article is true Maybe he has actually confirmed it ..I guess we'll know soon enough .......

I think he is leaving, unfortunately. For example, Laura Innes nothing said about leaving up to last episode... Probably he can't speak about the contract in the USA, but not in other countries (Australia, Belgium, Mexico, etc)
It is possible we had hear nothing of an actor leaving, except spoiler.

*shrugs* i dunno...i hope not. i'll hold out for a contract renegotiation. perhaps the success of s13 will change his gorgeous little croatian mind. i just don't get why he wouldn't stick around one last season. one bloody season...why would he bail (unless he actually had the offer to be the new bond, and unfortunately, that dream of ours isn't happening)? strange. i have no idea. this is certainly a more reputable source than anything we've seen...i just hope it's wrong. maybe if they gave him an offer he couldn't refuse he'll have to stay. like some more steamy scenes with MT. how could anyone say no to that?

I'm just... i remember when I was worry about The X - Files... we hadn't heard a confirmation about Gillian and David's contract before the next season, so I think that they 'll ( Goran and Warner, not because he wouldn't like to say but because Warner says to not tell anyone... ) just keep us gessing until the end of this season...
And maybe, if he does live the show, I'm sure that he want to see Luka's end, so he will appear like Carter was before going to Kem again ad Africa...

Maybe he know that 14th is not last season? But NBC will keep it a secret till May What do you mean, Nina??? Do you think TPTB will end ER this season with a apotheose Luby wedding because they know that THEY DON'T HAVE THE TIME to hook new viewers, with the flop of Dr EGO-GATES, that obviously everybody finds bloody annoying? ? OR Do you think there is a possibility to have a 15th season??? I really don't hope so... . I don't think Maura will stay that long on ER. Tell me what you think.

We are up to Episode 14 in Season 13 that means only a potential 8 more episodes. I know it has been said there could be 24 episodes but i dont know if this was confirmed.
I feel they are going to have to make some sort of announcement soon, they will be well on the way for planning this seasons finale so decisions will have to be made.
I really hope the delay of making an announcement is contract renegotiation and i hope TPTB offer him the earth to stay.

I think it was confirmed that there are going to be 25 episodes this season. ER typically airs only 10 episodes until Christmas, but they aired 11 this year. However, that might have been because of the hiatus change and them reworking storylines to fit the typical season run, not in two chunks like it was originally going to do.

Found this in the epi's site at TV.com. It appears the 'Murmurs of the Heart' is a pretty momentous epi!
With this episode, Goran Visnjic (Dr. Luka Kovac) now holds the title as the longest running main cast member, and is identified with Cast Member #1 on the show call sheets. Visnjic joined the cast in the premiere episode of Season Six, replacing George Clooney (Dr. Doug Ross) who left during Season Five
