what do you open it with? When I've changed the file name to .avi then I can open it in VLC and Crystal Player and so on.. You should be able to.. I tried to open it with Windows Media Player... It's what i used to open .avi files... okay.. Then that's the problem. Instead of saving it as an .avi file, save it as .wmv If that doesn't work - save it as a .flv file and then afterwards convert it in the same programme to a .wmv Hope I made sense

Sooo what do a girl do when she's bored? Make fanart. What does a girl do when the mediaplayer's making screencaps? Tries to write a tutorial. Yeah so...; Helloooooo folks! Here's my first icon tutorial for me. It includes both Selective Coloring and Curves so it is not PSP friendly. I'm gonna show how to make this icon from my latest batch in five easy steps. I chose the "I'll take love" scene from Graduation Day (capped by moi from Wendy's clip. Thank you!); > crop it down to a 100x100px size, easiest way is to use the crop tool and decide the size from the beginning! If you do sharpening and things like this, this stage is a perfect time to do it. I don't. I think that it's good as it is. > Duplicate the layer and set it to Screen 100% > Fill a layer with #524c08 and set it to Hard Light 30% > Selective Coloring layer. Reds.-37 0 +16 0 Yellows.-11 0 -19 0 Neutrals.-6 0 +5 0 > Curves layer. RGB: Output: 146 Input: 91 > Brightness/Contrast layer Contrast: +39 > Channel Mixer. Red;Red: 106% Green:Red: 2% Blue: 104% Tadaaa, wasn't hard or was it? For another icon[same batch as this^ one] I played around with the Magenta in the Selective coloring and got this; If anyone wants the psd. file, let me know! Questions? ASK! There are no stupid questions (:

I looked through the other pages of this thread and tried a couple of the tutorials but none of them really worked out, so i was wondering if anyone had any, EASY, and i stress the easy because im not that good at it, ways to make my art more interesting!!! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!! Thanks xox

What do you mean by "more interesting"? What program(s) do you use?

Hannah, I think you just have to patient. 90% of us here only started fanart when we cam here.. And you can just get better and better. There are numerous tutorials online (just google 'photoshop tutorials') for new or advanced PS users. And you WILL manage to do BRILLIANT work if you just keep being interested in it! I'm sure you'll be able to do things you can't believe now in jsut few weeks. Been there, done that. Feels amazing!!

Livejournal Tuts helped me like you wouldn't believe.
Other than that, just click around and play with filters and stuff.
