For anyone who has been already, how is the seating at the theatre? I can tell that it is a small theatre by the seating chart, but how do you think the view would be if you were sitting in the ends of the rows?

Our seats were on the right aisle in row G (7th back) and they were fantastic! It's a small theater, and very intimate. I don't think it's possible to get a bad seat. Also, it's steeper than a regular theater, so no worries about tall people being in the way

I can hardly wait to get there. Also glad to know that the tall people, and believe me there will be, in front of me won't block my view of Maura.

Was the play really good?? I'm going to New York this weekend and debating whether I should see it or not. Maybe I'll wait outside after the play just to see Maura :]

It's darkly funny...dramatic and angsty. I have been told that she is awesome. Given the opportunity, if you are a fan of hers, you should go. IMVHO

Yes, Maura is "phenomenal", that's the actual description. Scott Cohen sucked Maura's face 3 times and Dylan slapped her butt twice. ...on stage of course. Scott Cohen (Gilmore boy) signed a Playbill for me! All thanks to Maggie!!! ...and Maura well, she signed a lot of things! When one of Maggie's friends handed her a copy of "NewsRadio" to be signed, she said "Wow, where did that come from?" and then mentioned the Hasidic Jew wig she had to wear in the shoot. She also signed a copy of "Scotland, PA" which surprised her even more. She said she loved the film, except that "no one saw it" Aw...and on the long chat Maura had with Maggie (almost called a waiter for cupcakes and coffee) Maura revealed that Dubrovnik is a must! She was very sweet with everyone despite the obvious pressing need she had to go out and smoke like a chimney . (she had a pack of cigs in her hand ). Go Maura! Sign my forehead too!

I have heard mention of the 'Hasidic Jew wig' before. I wonder why they would have her wear a wig??? She has never been snapped with any kind of hair that would have been wrong for the 'Lisa' character. Wierd.

She mentioned to Maggie that it was because she had blonde hair at the time of the shoot from another project. Lisa had dark brown hair

You know, I asked someone 'in the know' that very question and never received a reply. MY thinking was that previews would allow for changes to the play and then it would be 'locked in' at the opening. But why wait till halfway through the run for an opening??? The 16th has been totally blocked out for ticket sales to the public. I imagine the house is being retained for reviewers, celebrities, friends and family members. I wonder if they could extend the run if it's deemed a 'hit'

But am also wondering with a preview, could they maybe end a production early? if the show is not getting the tickets sales but i suppose that would be as you said, allowing changes. Interesting....
