Yes, she is right handed, since Abby always writes with her right hand...

If she broke it, she has GOT to have good meds. What a trooper to be back on stage and not whining away somewhere about how much it hurts. But who knows....we might get a little publicity for her out of it. She may even get to talk a little more to explain it on next week's 'The View' appearance.

Wouldn't blame her if she did. FOUR shows this weekend? And the theater is susally dark on Monday - so she could rest - but I wonder if they threw in a couple of Labor Day performances?? Just checked.....no performances on Monday.

Oh my god.....pour Maura! I didn't see the play today while I was in NY, but I did see Maura and wondered what happened. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to say hi or anything. We were walking into starbucks and she was walking out. It took me a few minutes for my mind to say, "Oh my god that was Maura Tierney!!" I did get a few pics of the outside of Playwrights Horizons though. I'll post them later. I just got home from NY.

question does anyone know what the coat? if it means anything?

I think the coat is symbolic of a visitor that comes to stay....and is empty because the visitor is actually devoid of his own emotions and personal life? Who knows. Kind of a wierd poster....but sticks with you.

I used to work in the theatre in London, the opening night is when the press come in and see the play and then review in the papers and magazines. Before opening night are the previews, it gives the director, producers and others involved with the show a chance to see how it is received by the public, things usually get tweeked and changed up until the opening night. Hope that helps. I too am going to see the play on September 12th, is anybody else going on that night and would like to meet up? Let me know. Thanks
Abby.
