Spoilers are never 100% guaranteed. It's possible the writers could've changed the storyline and we don't know. However, it's very unlikely that they'd rewrite the premature birth and hysterectomy (sp?) after already airing "21 Guns" and showing Abby lying on the floor in a puddle of blood. I guess writing a hysterectomy out would be easy enough, but if it plays into the main storyline, then chances are they'll go with what we know.

as i have 3 children of my own i am aware that even a simple slip to the ground could cause a abruption let alone a really bad fall like Abby had.the thing is withabruptions you need to stop the bleeding really quick as you could quite easily bleed to death within minutes.and if i think rightly you have around 15 mins to deliver baby . god ive to wait another 2 weeks for showing of finale in uk.

I had an abruption at 35 weeks with my second, sadly I lost my baby boy and they nearly lost me too but I didn't need a hysterectomy, I suppose the writers want to add more heartache to the story line. I think I'm going to have to read all the spoilers before because I don't want to re-live a very painful issue, it was bad enough when Carter and Kem lost their baby. debs x

Give me a break!. Like you mentioned it was bad enough when Carter & Kem lost their baby...I felt so sad for Carter, but repeating the story again and making a fusion with what happened to Carol when she delivered the twins..c'mon it's too much!!! Poor Abby & Luka, it seems their destiny is to live the same story their friends did.

Thank you so much guys. I have felt the same about this story line, yes we all know its a drama but as I said in an earlier post the writers could have had such fun with Abby going into labour and for once had us crying with laughter! debs x

I totally, totally agree with you about the writers being able to have fun with a happy pregnancy storyline.....especially for these two. It just seems like TPTB like dragging them through the mud all of the time. I wonder of Maura and Goran would ever get sick of it and jump ship?? Hmmmm....HOWEVER...happy couples never seem to stay long with the show. Carol & Doug....Mark & Elizabeth (pre brain tumor though)...Susan & Chuck...Jeanie & Archie...Peter & Cleo...dang.....they are ALL out there somewhere.

Those screenwriters, suck ;D when it comes to write about romance between the leading couples of the show. PS-(I can already see Neela crying over Ray's death body with 7 children to take care of and...of course an hysterectomy)...ok I think i'm overreacting, but i just can't help it!

Yeah, they really could have made Abby's delivery funny with the type of personality she has in the show. I just hope they don't make it too dramatic! Let something end happily!

I know I was totaly looking forward to Abby delivering normally, and having Luka by her side listening to her scream at him about how this was all his fault.

I wrote a happy delivery in my first fanfic - The Things We Do - and am enjoying the continuation of those particular parents in other stories as well. I KNOW that happy Luby is entirely possible and FUN. I think TPTB should check into our boards now and then. I know that they read others because there have been several references this season to Abbyisms that were ramput in the ER Forum boards....before I was...ahem...banned.

Ick, they are going to ER Forums? That's scary. They'll get a really messed up idea of what people want there. No wonder they decided to do this to our luby.
