There is one and only one song that could ever be played at a Luby wedding an that would have to be "In My Life" by the beatles .Here are the lyrics
There are places I'll remember All my life though some have changed Some forever not for better Some have gone and some remain All these places have their moments With lovers and friends I still can recall Some are dead and some are living In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers There is no one compares with you And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more In my life I love you more
Couldn't you just imagine Abby walking up the isle and both of them having flashbacks about people and places they have loved before but then both realising that they love each other the most?

That's one of my favorite songs. I sang it for a chorus concert two years ago.

I think it's really fitting for Abby and Luka's lives because they have both loved and lost a lot of people in their lives. And places have changed a lot too ,like the ER for example.

[glow=red,2,300]"Someday We'll Know" by Mandy Moore and Jonathan Foreman[/glow] I think that song is a really great Luby song! I absolutely love it. These are the lyrics: Ninety miles outside Chicago Can't stop driving I don't know why So many questions I need an answer Two years and later You're still on my mind Whatever happened to Amelia Earhart? Who holds the stars up in the sky? Is true love just once in a lifetime? Did the captain of the Titanic cry? Ohhh..... Someday we'll know If love can move a mountain Someday we'll know Why the sky is blue Someday we'll know Why I wasn't meant for you Does anybody know the way to Atlantis? Or what the wind says when she cries? I'm speeding by the place that I met you For the ninety-seventh time tonight Someday we'll know If love can move a mountain Someday we'll know Why the sky is blue Someday we'll know Why I wasn't meant for you Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Someday we'll know Why Samson loved Delilah One day I'll go Dancing on the moon Someday you'll know That I was the one for you I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow Watched the stars crash in the sea If I could ask God one question Why aren't you here with me tonight? Someday we'll know If love can move a mountain Someday we'll know Why the sky is blue Someday we'll know Why I wasn't meant for you Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Someday we'll know Why Samson loved Delilah One day I'll go Dancing on the moon Someday you'll know That I was the one for you Yeah...I really love that song! I don't know if anyone of you guys know Natalia, but here whit us she's a great star. Anyway I think her song "Fragile not broken" is a perfect song for the break up period between Abby and Luka. I wanted to poste the songtext but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I had a few songs that reminded me of Luby.
This first one reminded me of Luby thoughts about their baby:
"The Things We've Handed Down": By Marc Cohn
Don't know much about you Don't know who you are We've been doing fine without you But we could only go so far
Don't know why you chose us Were you watching from above s there someone there that knows us Said we'd give you all our love
Will you laugh just like your mother Will you sigh like your old man Will some things skip a generation Like I've heard they often can
Are you a poet or a dancer A devil or a clown Or a strange new combination of The things we've handed down
I wonder who you'll look like Will your hair fall down and curl Will you be a mama's boy Or daddy's little girl
Will you be a sad reminder Of what's been lost along the way Maybe you can help me find her In the things you do and say
And these things that we have given you They are not so easily found But you can thank us later For the things we've handed down
You may not always be so grateful For the way that you were made Some feature of your father's That you'd gladly sell or trade
And one day you may look at us And say that you were cursed But over time that line has been Extremely well rehearsed
By our fathers, and their fathers In some old and distant town From places no one here remembers Come the things we've handed down
This one is just a really pretty song
"Let the Sun Fall Down": By Kim Richey
Close the door and leave the world behind you Open the window and listen to the breeze blow through the pines Take a deep breath, what more can you do Let the sun fall down all around you Let the night surround you in a blanket of starlight I'll whisper you a lullaby Let the sun fall down That old dark cloud acts like he knows you He takes up too much time, time you could be spending holding me But he can't have you now It's you and me here in this room (Oh) let the sun fall down all around you Let the night surround you in a blanket of starlight I'll whisper you a lullaby Let the sun fall down The world will keep on turning It'll all be there come morning So tonight Let the sun fall down all around you Let the night surround you in a blanket of starlight I'll whisper you a lullaby (Oh) let the sun fall down all around you Let the night surround you in a blanket of starlight I'll whisper you a lullaby Let the sun fall down
And one last one for now
"Peace of Me": By Natasha Bedingfield
Standing still but still moving Lying down but not resting Breathing air, suffocating All the while, I'm debating
Life was never what I thought Never what I wanted it to be
Had a plan, couldn't follow Had a dream, it was hollow Everywhere felt like nowhere Everything was so boring
Life was never what I wanted Never what I thought Until you came and turned it all around
Oh, you found the peace of me It was missing; it was broken You put soul into it Oh, you found the whole of me I was empty, now I'm better All my peace is back together
Restless ways for a living Fitting in 'cause I was driven Saying yes when I meant no Holding on, should've let go
I was scattered all around Left shattered on the ground You picked me up
All I wanted was a little bit of hope Couldn't find it You showed me something That I never knew I owned You put a light to it
Oh, you found the peace of me It was missing; it was broken You put soul into it Oh, you found the whole of me I was empty, now I'm better 'Cause you pieced me back together
What a life, always tried What a life, lived without you Don't leave me, and I won't Fall apart, I won't leave you And it's cold and I'm blind And I would and it feels good What a waste on my mind Everytime, all the time
Oh, you found the whole of me It was missing; it was broken You put soul into it Oh, you found the whole of me I was empty, now I'm better 'Cause you pieced me back together
Hope you like them!
