Oh MY god! i am totally crying here ! NO ER FOR 7 WEEKS! what am i going to do? It feels like ER has been the greatest this year but there were so many breaks in between the epis! LUBY KISS ;)was awesome! their discussions about marriage were awesome! hope and morris are going to get themselves killed if they tell anyone, and i have a feeling that they will because that is theie personality. Abby and Luka seem so happy it makes me happy! (even though there is no ER for 7 weeks.

Aside from the Luby bits.....this was a totally boring epi. Sad, but I have no interest in Pratt....Gates...Neela.....okay, a mild interest in Ray. Dang...even the patients were too mellow. Heh. With Hope, Morris...and Frank....suspecting the secret engagement... how long will it remain a secret???

If TV Guide was worried about ratings, this didn't do much to help. As much as I appreciate that a normal ER isn't always (or ever) being shot up, I think the slow pace is detremental to the show. I miss the fast-paced medicine - not constant "drama" but intense action between doctor and patient. ER has strayed too far from its roots, and that's forcing Maura and Goran to carry the show with their acting abilities. I'm worried about what this could mean for ER. I really hope the writers can get back to that fact-paced medical drama we fell in love with and remember why we relate the characters - not for their interactions with one another (usually) but for their interactions with patients. I want to see Morris shoving an addled intern out of the way to crack a chest without consent and have to defend his actions to Kovac. I want to see Abby and Luka go head-to-head about PATIENT CARE (not their personal issues) and at the end of the day, know it doesn't affect their relationship once they leave the ER. I want to see Neela really stick it to Dubenko and have Crenshaw get in the middle of it. I WANT THE ESSENCE OF ER BACK.
On another note, loved the Reela kiss and the Luby kiss.

:)Cannot believe that i have downloaded and watched this episode already I really enjoyed it, i espeically liked when Abby told Hope she'll kill her if she told anybody about the wedding! However, more Lubby next time....... Anybody else notice that the knew surgeon has been in ER before? am sure she was in 'Out on a limb', as the girl who had a love bit but thought that she had the infection that was in the ER.

The torrent seemed to cut out early, did anything happen after Sam walked away from the evil spawn? This episode was pretty blah...not good for sweeps. I enjoyed Abby and Luka, but then I always do. The medical things, boring, no action there at all. I did enjoy Abby and Hope talking about the wedding and Abby threatening to kill her. Loved Morris again, he rocks, and is one of my favourites, loved his embrace with Pratt, hee! and his patient care of the father...that was one doctor/patient relationship I cared about for once. And he called Joe gremlin again! HEE and so did Luka And how many anvils were in there? do they think we are stupid? We get that Sam has a phsyco kid...jeepers, they don't need to throw it in our faces with Patients saying things...but I am so glad she has realised and hopefully we don't have to see him EVER again. Dubenko annoyed me, he seemed out of character and I never liked it. Dubenko is also one of my faves and if they do to him what they did to Romano I will scream. The crew needs to watch old school ER and start doing what they used to do well, otherwise the show is going to tank big time. They need to get back to fast paced medical drama, where everything was on the go, and it wasn't so much about the doctors personal lives, that was an added bonus. They need to develop patient/doctor relationships we can care about as well, the doctors don't seem to connect much these days. And even though I am sad about having to wait 7 weeks I am too happy to be upset, I got my Tori Amos tickets tonite and that has put me on cloud nine, London here I come!!!

I agree that they need to pick up the faster pace. I was totally bored tonight.....with the exception of the Luby bits. And for the first time in a long while I kept looking at Abby and wishing to see Susan...and her hair. No matter how crappy looking Sherry Stringfield was supposed to be - her hair always looked great. Whatever happened with the cute upsweep clips and head bands....or the way nice looking french braid from season 10's 'Drive' It was really distracting tonight. Sigh. Not exactly the picture I wanted to go out with for the next 7 weeks.......
