OMG, OMG, OMG i cannot wait for this ep. I love parminder nagra, her acting looks like it will be 2nd to none. It's so exciting...what will it bring- will she go meet Ray wherever he is, will she be off to move closer to Abby! She better damn well end up happy anyway, otherwise my constant moaning about her train-wreck of a character development since Gallant will all come to a head. I'm really glad Neela got her own episode and a decent send-off...she deserves it! I really reeeeallly hope our girl gets more then just a short phone-call...I have a feeling this might be the case. Well, better then nothing i guess!

Did anyone happen to watch Kings on NBC last night? About 10 minutes before it ended, there was a shorter, slightly different version of the "Shifting Equilibrium" promo. It cut out Pratt and Ray and just showed a quick flash of Gallant, and then right before that shot of Abby saying "I'll see you sometime" from Book of Abby, there was a shot of Abby and Neela sitting next to each other. Neela's hair looked really short (like when she first came on the show) but Abby looked like current Abby. It was just a two second shot, so I couldn't tell a lot about it, but I couldn't figure out if it was an old scene I don't remember, or if maybe it's a "new" flashback that we'll see during the episode.
Anyone else catch it?

Maura's part was short but sweet . "I hate Thursdays." Soooo typical Abby, in a not so typical situation! Would have loved to see more Joe though . Overall I was pretty bored with this week's episode....

Ok, spoke too soon! The last 10 minutes made the epi pretty sweet . REELA! Ray looks awesome, and now I'm rooting for them to get back together - and now I'm not surprised about the choice of hospital! They totally tricked me into thinking it was Weaver in the elevator though . The song they played at the end nearly brought me to tears... classic ER! I am I wrong or is that in fact the same song they played during season 1 at emotion points?

Hee. This was certainly a 'teaser.' ALL THE WAY THROUGH. LOL No Maura in the credits. The 'can't do this without you' tearful hug with...Dubenko? NO indication whatsoever where Neela was headed till the end. LOL.
Patient stories were boring. The walk to the 'wall' felt a little flat. Flashbacks were unnecessary. The ears on Morris were S*T*U*P*I*D!!! (They did that one already - and much better - with reindeer antlers. I like Morris but he is NO Luka.) I was, however, expecting to see an engagement ring in that pie.

I uploaded Abby's cameo on youtube! www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNpBBxtuC0wEnjoy! I always LOVE to see Abby/Maura back but my thoughts about the cameo: It looks like the another "bat cave", it was very dark in the living room, the bar thing in the chitchen.... I think at the end when Abby turned her head Joe was coming, but that it was cut out of the program... The actual phone call scene reminded me of her scene in "Baby mama". ha ha Anyway what I also didn't understand is that Abby is advising Neela, who is having a crisis, to take a drink.... But I am so glad we got to see Abby again!!!!

:Woohoo thanks Izzy, you're fast ! I'm still downloading the epi, but thanks to you I already saw Abby's scene ! 2 things I'd like to say about her scene: The 'I hate Thursdays' quote is of course a typical thing for Abby to say. I also thought it was funny she adviced Neela to get a drink. I think the producers really did this on purpose you know, like a to the past, if you know what I mean. And a to the future, coz most of us will hate Thursdays without ER

Izzy, you're so right, her brief scene was like 'Baby mama'. The part where she was on the phone to her sister!! I knew it wasn't going to be a long scene with Abby but still good to see her again and yes the 'I hate Thursdays' classic Abby line!! anyone else notice the look that she gave right at the end of her conversation with Neela?? It looked troubling maybe sad almost?? ( but its probably nothing) and i wanted to see more of Joe.... Anyway, lets go back to Neela, who eppie this was... Firstly, that girl so is pregnant!! the casual placing of the coat over her tummy; never seen that before, hehehe I loved the flashbacks at the end and seeing the wall again both brought a slight tear to my eye. If they put that wall in the final episode, am going to need a big box of Kleenex I thought that Halleh and Neela might hug but then again they were not as close as her and Abby. I love the fact that they used the same music as when Abby left. It one of my favourite piece of music from the show. However, I was just waiting for Abby to say, 'why is light given to those in misery....etc' but she didn't which is good because i can now use the music in my videos..... The ending was so sweet. You realize how good her and Ray are together but they didn't kiss. I was expecting a kiss but maybe they are leaving that open?? I have a feeling we haven't seen the end of Neela just yet. Overall, i really enjoyed this episode. It was a typical ER episode which was sad but left you feeling happy as well, if you understand?? only 2 more left to go.....

It was too short, of course, but I did like what we got. As soon as I saw "Special appearance by Maura Tierney" in the opening credits, my excitement went up about 100% LOL I thought she looked fantastic, I loved that she had her wedding band on (I panicked a little when I couldn't see it in the promo pics LOL) and while I didn't *love* the house (the stove in the kitchen looked really old!), I'm still happy that we got to see it and that they have a place of their own to start their new life in. I definitely wish we'd seen more of Joe or got to hear him talk, and I wish there'd been just a brief mention of Luka or how things are going in Boston (or maybe a glimpse of the snowglobe!), but I guess the fact that other kids are playing at their house means they've made friends - or at least people who will trust her with their children LOL So I loved that part, especially "I hate Thursdays." That's our Abby! And I loved her not hanging up the first time. "You still there?" - "Yes." Love that friendship.
