*sigh* pfff.... that's a relief Yeh... I don't get why the writers did that, they must have known that there were al lot of abby/ luka fans..? Only for 2 or three epi's I read... But I'm still excited about it, it still didn't rly 'end' for me coz I know there's another season out there I haven't seen ;D For what about the depressed part, I alrdy thought I was going both; depressed AND crazy Martine

Actually it wasn't the writer's fault. It was because Goran didn't want to stay on the show. So they had to write him out somehow. I hope the Goran fans won't be angry with me for saying this, but I always kinda blamed Goran for 'the end of ER'. I believe if he would have stayed, the show would still be running. Oh, and Dianne, I don't know about your depression but you're definitely crazy ;D

Awh.... It's all Goran's fault I don't know if they were still running,c oz they would have stopped just after the top of popularity. But the top wasn't still there I think! So... from now on, I dislike Goran even more. ABOUT RUINING THE SHOW!! ;D Uhmmmm I guess you're SO right...

Oh, and Dianne, I don't know about your depression but you're definitely crazy ;D I agree Martine (no hate mail from me!! lol) season 14 would have been so much better with Goran still as full time part of the cast. I think many fans turn ER off when Goran left. I also think that if Maura had stayed for season 15, the show would have ended on a much higher note (again fans turned off). I know some actors worry about being sterotyped to a particular character but it was only one more season after all (1 & 1/2 in his case). Why didn't they stay? What have we seen Goran in since? I see no reason for him to have left? I feel that the producers should have faught to keep these two actors, they were the reason people were still watching the show.

Yeah!! And for being stereo-typed, they have already I think.. Also so many papers who write about Maura say in the first sentence The former E.R. actress... (blabla where she played Dr. Abby Lockhart...)I guess they were the most favo couple ánd individual personages on the show.. I bet Maura would have played more if Goran was still in, but the writers would have wanted a happy ending for Luby; ends well, all good. (I think that's not the right translation of that saying)

Random question as I'm re-watching S9....do we think Luka really did buy Abby a school girl outfit? He told Susan and Frank she was just joking, but I thought she seemed pretty serious when she said it LOL

I always thought that was definitely a joke. Certainly Abby's humour. I love that scene, though. And:
"You totally suck, you know that?" "Hey, careful. Creating a hostile work environment."

I love it too LOL I thought she had such a serious tone in her voice when she said it to him, it always gave me pause. Maybe Luka was a little more kinky than we knew. And, of course, it made me think of Maura in her school girl outfit from that old TV movie she did, Flying Blind (I think that was the name) LOL

I would say they used the school girl outfit. I´m just not sure if he was the one who got it.
She had that nurse clothes ( Carter´s time) and that very special christmas for Luka too.
My bet is Luka AND Abby are a bit kinky.

I think Abby was serious about it, it was like she wanted to stick it to him about the naughty nurse joke. I thought that line was a perfect contrast with the previous ep when I Luka fooled around with the patient's mother in the supply closet. When Susan and Abby talked and Susan asked if she and Luka were ever like that and Abby said "we stuck to beds mostly." I took it like where they did it was boring, but what they were doing was not boring at all. From the chemistry they have you know they have a great sex life.

Yep, if nothing else, I think season 7 was proof that things were never boring between them LOL
And how unfair that while she was stuck with Carter in S9 and no one but motorcycle guy and Jake for the next two seasons, Luka was getting every woman within a 50 mile radius of him LOL

I just did a quick re-watch of the scene, and I don't know -- Luka's reaction seems to indicate it was a joke, but Abby's seriousness says otherwise. I'm still thinking it was said in jest. A classic scene, though. So naughty. I love it. From the chemistry they have you know they have a great sex life. I would just like to second that. Without doubt.

I just did a quick re-watch of the scene, and I don't know -- Luka's reaction seems to indicate it was a joke, but Abby's seriousness says otherwise. I know, he completely treats it as a joke. But the way she leans over to him and lowers her voice a bit when she says it, like she doesn't want anyone to overhear, is why I've always thought she was serious. Maybe he bought her an outfit that *she* thought of as a school girl outfit but to Luka was just a skirt and blouse LOL And I was reminded watching "Tell Me Where It Hurts" last night that Luka was carrying on with a married woman. I always forget all about that when I watch S14. Maybe the writers did too. When the writer's strike happened, I think a lot of things were forgotten.

Yeah, I remember that one. And her husband went to ER to talk to Luka and ask him not to see her again. I think the couple had 2 little girls.
Who would think that, a few years later, Luka would be on the other side of the fence?
Thinking about it, Richard had some affairs and it was very hurtful. And then, married to Luka, Abby cheats too.
Well, maybe karma is a bitch - as they say

It was good to see Luka respect the husband's wishes, once he mentioned the kids they have and we know how Luka was with trying to keep familes together; he did not want to be the man to break up one. Although Luka defense was she sought me out, which he should know that does not make it OK and Moretti could have made that arguement to Luka too.
I was always mad that the last "love" scene we saw Abby in was cheating on her husband. I wanted a scene in the book of Abby showing that Luka and Abby had re-connected physically.
