These pics are so cute and happy. Couldn't stop smiling. But not too long. As I posted in BLACKOUT, Abby won't lie to LUKA about her having sex with another man, ( will never understand why TPTB chose Stanley Tucci , he isn't exactly sex on legs...his hairy chest is quiter scary! ) and this will deeply hurt LUKA as the only thing he has been always sure of, is the magnetic attraction he had on the women in the ER. He has never shown off or gloated about it, that was just plain reality. Remember ABBY in the baby- store hiding behind maternity clothes: " ALL THE WOMEN IN THE ER KNOW YOU, LUKA, TRUST ME!"So, LUKA will be both sexually and morally shaken! ( weak word! ) That's why I enjoy this cute " Coming Home pics", but I know that " the little hell" they will be going through, will be HARD TO OVERCOME. And I just HATE the feeling of LUKA feeling GUILTY for anything....ZABEL was so wrong when he thought that we, LUBIES, wouldn't mind a mini earthquake in our LUBY world. BUT, UNLIKE CARITO, I DO HOPE THAT THERE WILL BE A HAPPY LUBY ENDING ..but the writers will need a lot of writing skills, to CONVINCE me.

BUT, UNLIKE CARITO, I DO HOPE THAT THERE WILL BE A HAPPY LUBY ENDING ..but the writers will need a lot of writing skills, to CONVINCE me. I think there will be a happy ending. I have faith. They've been through a lot together and I honestly believe that Abby will get the help she needs to overcome her disease and Luka will find it in his heart to forgive her, and then they will live happily ever after. It will obviously take work but I think they'll finally be happy together.

I love the promo. Though, as we all know, ER promos are misleading, so what's the betting Luka appears in, like, 3 scenes? Though, 3 is better than none I suppose.

If the writers say they're happy then they are. The cult carbies build many of their arguments on Carter's commitment to Kem not being "true" and will assert to their dying day that off screen the "real" story is playing out. One may not like the way it is handled but it that's what is put before us that is what happened.
I don't think Luka gives a hoot about his matinee idol status; given what it took to get a ring onto Abby's finger and for her to commit to a relationship long term I think the simple fact of what has happened and the reason it happened will be enough to pull the rug out from under him. Possibly more wounding will be the fact that she kept him in the dark about the reality of the situation that developed in his absence.

One thing (only one? ) that strikes me is that the writers knew that GV's contract is up and his episodes are limited next (this) season but still went along with the wedding. I guess they might have as well ended last season in the same situation, without them being married but still happy and all. And since they knew he'll be back to wrap thing up, they could postpone the forever stuff until the end of this season, after this whole mess. But I think this was well thought through and well (not well as in good) planned. If they wouldn't be married, it would've been very easy to break them up. This is why I think the outcome is going to be at least bitter-sweet (given the circumstances, I wouldn't buy a season 13 emotional intimacy so fast). They chose to have them married before this so it would be believable to patch things up. I would've easily bought an ending with Abby's decision to get married, to show him that they can leave all this behind and head for a new start. Luka doesn't give up. He's hurt, he might close himself for a while but he wouldn't give up on her. I'm more afraid of Abby not forgiving herself than him. And I would just love to see them acting all cautious around each other. Sort of like two people that are just discovering each other. Oh...and Luka deals with the "another guy" pretty good. Not saying that it was the same situation, but remember when Steve came by in late season 10 and lived with Sam? Aside for the whole family speech Steve gave him, he was the boyfriend then and he was hurt, disappointed but continued to chase her around when she left town. Again, it's a whole different situation but he can get over it.

I really can't believe that Luka would "test" her by offering her a beer. To my mind, that is even worse than b eing oblivious to her alcoholism. I don't think Luka is that manipulative. It's the sort of thing other ER characters might try (Romano? Kerry? Even Carter?). Luka can be obstinate, a bit clueless sometimes (especially with women), but that? No. [Though I do agree, there is some sort of character assassination going on here.} Dubenkojunkie - I wonder if you can help out with something? I read on another board that Niko thinks there's something odd about the Abby/Luka wedding pix. Is there a reference to that in the sides? We agree completely on the 'testing her' theory. That's one of the most ridiculous fanwanks I have seen about these sides. As for the wedding pictures, Niko and Luka are looking at them and Niko is searching for a word to describe them. Luka offers "beautiful" Niko says "special" in the same way we might tell a new mother an unfortunate looking baby is "cute". He is clearly not sold on getting married in a Meatloaf video. Luka smacks him on the shoulder for the comment. Skimming through the thread and came across this; it's actually Abby who offers the word "beautiful", not Luka.

I wonder if anyone will find out about Abby and Moretti?
Or if Abby will confide in Pratt or Neela about the affair ( I hate that word) ? Any thoughts on this?

In English, please. If I get the gist of what you've just sais it's that Haleh tells Abby that she's trying to book a flight for Moretti and that this indicates that she's twigged that something happened between them. Having read the sides, I can't detect anything in the exchange between Haleh and Abby to suggest that she knows anything at all. All she's doing is telling Abby that Moretti is flying that night, and in fact it's Frank who books the flight. Even if she knew what possible justification could she have for telling Luka? It doesn't look to me as though anyone else knows, unless that is the cause of Neela's froideur toward Abby.

The Main idea is right

All depends of how is gonna be played out
Even if she knew what possible justification could she have for telling Luka?
The gossip flies in that , Er darling.

It's sort of in the nature of gossip that the people its about aren't party to it. Luka just got back and doesn't, as far as I can tell, stay long in the ER. The only way he'd know about it if from anyone is if they'd made a point of telling him and I cannot imagine Haleh or anyone else doing that, even if they knew about what had happened. There is nothing in the sides to suggest anything of the sort.

There is nothing in the sides to suggest anything of the sort. It is not necessary someone make a point of telling him directly. The TV Guide article says Luka is gonna find more and more about Abby"s transgressions and one point add to another can reveal him the whole picture not that it was exactly Moretti the one involved but of what happened with someone else.

I don't think anyone else is going to find out about Abby and Moretti. She's both private and ashamed and even if he's a jerk, I can't see him bragging around.
Also...I don't think Luka will find out about it until she actually tells him. He will figure by himself the drinking but would not think it's gone that far. My thoughts go to the confrontation in 14.10. He will say something like it's OK, she had a relapse, it's going to be OK and then she breaks the news, which is enough to bring him to his knees. If, by then, he would know, the whole meltdown seems a bit too far.
It's one thing to see that your wife has a different personality (and/or find some empty bottles) and another to be that intuitive.I don't think that even for a moment he thinks about an adultery.
