Well this brings an end to another story!! Thanks to everyone who read and commented!! There is one more story to go before it's finally over and I have started working on it already!! Thanks again guys!! ;D ;DThe final chapter(Chapter 83)
Abby walked down the hallway and stopped at the twin’s room. In there sat Lana playing with her doll. Lee may have been their Stinker, but Lana was their Sweet Baby. She was the easiest child they had ever met. She never caused problems, she never argued. She was just a Sweet Baby, and that was how she had gained her nickname.
As Lana heard her mother’s footsteps, she looked up. Looking back at Abby was a mini replica of Luka. Lana had almost every feature of Luka, except for her smile, that was all Abby. Lana was the only child of theirs that had straight locks. Her hair was the same colour of Lee’s. As she saw Abby she smiled.
“Hey Sweet Baby,” Abby said as she walked into the room. “Are you ready for your birthday party?”
“Yes,” Lana said, still smiling. Abby picked up her daughter, and Lana cuddled up into Abby’s embrace. Abby rubbed Lana’s back softly; Lana was also her cuddle baby.
Abby walked down stairs with Lana in tow, just as Susan and Carter walked into the front door, toting along their two year old son, Daniel. Susan had found out that she was pregnant soon after they had gotten married.
“Hey guys!” Abby said happily as they reached the bottom of the stairs.
“My girlfriend,” Daniel said as he pointed to Lana. Ever since he could talk, he referred to Lana as his girlfriend.
“Oh, no,” Luka said as he made his way into the foyer. “No Mini Carters/Kovac’s for Lana, not yet. She’s not dating anyone until she’s thirty.” Luka said as he took Lana out of Abby’s arms.
Abby looked to the two of them and smiled. Lana had her father wrapped completely around her finger. When she got older and figured it out, it was going to be interesting.
“My girlfriend,” Daniel restated with a pout. Susan placed Daniel down and Luka did the same. Daniel wrapped his arms around Lana, but Lana pushed him away lightly.
“That’s my girl,” Luka said with a wink. Susan and Carter laughed. Lana walked into the living room with her brothers and sister, as Daniel followed.
“Okay, now all we need is Kelly, Jake, and little May.”
“Are Neela and Hannah already here?” Susan questioned. Ever since Abby and Hannah’s meeting three years ago, they had kept in touch. Hannah would come for birthdays and some holidays. She liked spending time with her other family.
“Neela’s in the kitchen, hiding away from the kids, and Hannah, she can’t come, she wanted to, but she couldn’t. So she’s going to come by tomorrow and take the kids somewhere fun.”
“That’s great.”
“Yeah.”
Just then Kelly, Jake, and their two year old, adopted daughter, May, walked into the door. They had just recently adopted May from China five months ago. And right after, Kelly had found out that she was pregnant. It was a miracle baby. It was going to be a boy.
“May’s here!” Lee told everyone as he ran into the living room, nearly ploughing into Abby’s leg. Luke followed and picked him up.
“Sorry, mom,” Luke said with a smile, “I tried to keep him from running.”
“Not a problem,” Abby said with a wink. “Little Sinker here just likes to run, don’t ya, baby?”
“Uh huh!” Lee exclaimed, “Cake time?”
“Not quite yet, Stinker,” Luka told him. “In just a little bit.”
A Little Bit Later“Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Lana and Lee, Happy Birthday to you,” everyone sang as Abby and Luka brought the cakes to the twins. The twins blew out the candles and everyone clapped. Lee stuck his hand straight into his cake and licked his fingers.
“Lee!” Abby and Luka scolded simultaneously.
“Uh, oh,” he sighed. “But my cake!”
“Oh, okay, it’s your cake,” Abby agreed. “But no more hand in cake, we have to share with everyone.”
Abby took the plates and began cutting.
“Okay who want’s Princess? It’s yellow cake with butter cream icing, and Dragon is chocolate cake with chocolate icing.”
Everyone began telling Abby what kind they wanted.
“Wait, where’s Neela?” Susan questioned as she bit into the Princess cake.
“She had to go potty,” Daniel told his mother proudly.
“Oh, that’s nice.” Carter giggled.
After Abby had gave everyone cake, she fixed herself a plate with a little bit of each. However as the smells of the cake made their way to her nose, she quickly sat down the plate and headed to the bathroom.
She didn’t even pay attention to the fact that Neela was standing there washing her hand, she just pushed past her and over to the toilet where she emptied her stomach.
“Eww, gross,” Neela said as she turned. “You couldn’t have waited like one more second for me to get out of here?”
Abby didn’t have time to respond, as another wave of nausea passed and she heaved again.
“Eww, seriously, Abby. Are you like pregnant, again?”
Abby sat up slowly and rolled her eyes as she pulled some toilet paper and wiped her mouth. As she threw the paper into the toilet, she sat back. Thoughts raced through her mind. And the realization finally hit her.
“Dammit!”
