I agree with y'all. I don't like that line. Did she really think that Luka would get over her betrayl so quickly? It's gonna take some time and serious effort. Less than a year into their marriage and she's already cheated on him. I don't care if she was in the middle of an alcoholic relapse, that's not the sort of thing a guy just bounces back from.
Oh, and I hope the shocking reveal isn't that Luka cheated too while he was in Croatia. That would be freakin' ridiculous. The worse case of retcon evah! But knowing how much this show sucks lately thats probably exactly what they will do.

But knowing how much this show sucks lately thats probably exactly what they will do. I doubt they'd do that to them. I think Abby was the one out of the pair who would have been prone to falling off the tracks and doing something she would regret, whereas Luka is the stable half. He's the pillar of strength.

It would be totally silly to have Luka cheating in Croatia, and quite out of character for him to be expressing anger about the situation if that's what he'd done.
You know some of what Abby has said to him in the past, especially about Ames - it took them so long to get to where they are and she was afraid that Luka's behaviour was going to lose it all for them - should really be gnawing hard on her arse. On top of that there is the ssue of her not telling him what was going on with her even before she started drinking which was another thing she accused him of doing. I'm not surprised that he's going through some anger (and in a way I'm glad that he's pissed off rather than just miserable hurt and blaming himself) and I can't help but wonder at why Abby would think that it would al be OK once she fessed up. She's been cheated on herself - does she not remember what that felt like?

From these spoilers I get the feeling that Abby doesn't quite get it. I guess in her past her drinking never effected anyone like it has Luka. Or maybe Luka's the only one to say enough is enough. Just a guess though.
I'm also glad that Luka's angry. It's much more realistic. It would take awhile to work through all this mess. Just how long it's going to take seems to be the question.

Her drinking might well have affected people just as badly - she just hasn't had to witness it.

Released by NBC:
MULTI-EMMY AWARD-WINNING AND RECENT OSCAR NOMINATED ACTOR HAL HOLBROOK MAKES A SPECIAL GUEST-STARRING APPEARANCE ON NBC'S 'ER,' THURSDAY, APRIL 24 (10:00 PM ET/PT) Released by NBC
Burbank March 27, 2008 Multi-Emmy Award-winning actor and recent Academy Award nominee Hal Holbrook makes a special guest appearance on NBC's "ER" (10-11 p.m. ET) as Walter Perkins, a terminal cancer patient who impacts the life of Dr. Kovac (Goran Visnjic). The episode, "Truth Will Out," will air Thursday, April 24 (10-11 p.m. ET).
During a visit to a hospice ward, Dr. Kovac crosses paths with Walter, who despite his terminal illness, remains upbeat, offbeat and funny -- while continuing to outlive every other patient that comes through the doors of the facility. His presence impacts Luka and affects a major decision in his life.
Executive Producer David Zabel said, "The show has had an amazing array of incredible actors who have walked through the doors over the years and Hal Holbrook certainly continues that tradition. He is perfect for this role and we couldn't be more pleased to have him."
A Tony Award recipient and five-time Emmy winner, Holbrook is one of the great craftsmen of stage and screen. He is best known for his performance as Mark Twain, a role for which he won numerous accolades for "Mark Twain Tonight!" He has appeared in more than 50 television movies and mini-series including "Pueblo," "Our Town," "Sandburg's Lincoln" and "Outer Limits." He also starred in the landmark television movie "That Certain Summer." Holbrook has guest-starred on such television series as NBC's "The West Wing," "NCIS," and "The Sopranos."
On the big screen, his career began with "The Group" in 1966 and since then, he has appeared in over 40 films. These include "Magnum Force," "Midway," "All the President's Men," "Wall Street," "The Firm" and "Men of Honor." Earlier this year, Holbrook became the oldest male performer ever nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in "Into the Wild."
Currently recognized as the most Emmy-nominated show in television history, "ER" is currently in its 14th season and is produced by Constant c Productions and Amblin Television in association with Warner Bros. Television.

I need to go back and reread all these spoilers. I wonder if their real issue is that she COULDN'T tell him about the night with the Tooch. He knows she wasn't telling him everything. Maybe he is losing faith in their relationship because she ontinues to keep that bit if info from him?

Or he knows the what but wants to know the who and she won't tell him. Or she has told him and he feels sick as a dog when he thinks about her watching him make nice with the Yeti. Sometimes it's things like that that take on a ghastly sort of significance sort of in excess of the deed itself.

i like Hal Holbrook....always have. I am concerned about all the press saying facilitates a strong effect on Luka's decision..... because in the next epi's spoilers we find out that Luka has moved out??? I hope they don't ruin this actor for me like they have the Tooch.

Sam kind of pisses me off. (no offense to Sam fans).
But Abby did nothing to her personally! I don't think Abby owes Sam any type of apology. Sam is an attention whore and needs to get over herself.
Again, no offense to Sam fans.

Again, no offense to Sam fans. i agree. and in one of the spoilers(not sure if it was for this one or not) abby tries to make ammends with sam, and sam just totally blows her off. its totally uncalled for. she, out of all people, should know that everyone has their own baggage. shame on sam.
