Again from AEB, many thanks to abbylukaaddict:
Abby treats Lana she has a damaged liver her mom was called to go to County while Lana is passed out and Lana freaks out whe she wakes up and Abby tells her that her mom is on her way. Lana used to be Leo and her /his mom did not know. Lana is scared and worried about her moms reaction and she also may need a liver transplant.
Abby has a speech telling Lana that the people closest to you , are the ones that have the most difficult time with the truth doesnt mean they dont love you they just dont understand yet, thats is ok to ask for help nothing to be ashamed of.
Abby is still not an attending and getting worried and talks to Pratt he tells her he will check on it. I gotta go home ! sorry guys Im at work and I need to leave we are closing Im sure someone will post better spoilers that I have.

more from AEB
"Tandem Repeats" seems to occur within days of the hostage situation in "Under Pressure." All the staff are being sent to psych for debriefing. Morris goes but claims everything is fine and leaves fairly quickly. Later, however, he sees repairs of broken windows in the ER - broken from bullets - and is distracted, distant. Toward the end of the episode, he returns to the psychologist for an appointment.
Dr. Brenner slept with Med Student Laverne the night before and today he is both ignoring and berating her. Laverne confronts Brenner and he is quite insulting, saying he only slept with her because he had 2 bottles of wine in him. She counters that if he doesn't want to see her again, fine, but she still has to teach her. Brenner says she is incapable of learning anything - about sex or medicine. Laverne notes she could get him fired for this.
Meanwhile, Brenner is introducing Kaya, a new 4th year med student from New Mexico and generally fawning all over her.
The main patient story is about Lana, who used to be Leo. Lana is brought in and Abby is able to diagnose the situation, showing up Brenner to a large degree. Lana has been taking tainted hormones purchased not from a doctor, but through a friend who gets it from Mexico. The tainted drugs have damager her liver beyond repair.
Lana's mother first appears and is shocked to learn that Leo, who left home 6 years ago and never contacted them, is now a woman waiting for reassignment surgery. But quickly, the mother accepts Lana. But when Lana's father arrives, he cannot accept it. There are no siblings who can give Lana part of their liver; the mother is compatible but has cirrhosis and cannot donate. The father totally refuses to consider it.
A security officer in charge of security cameras has been observing a couple having sex in areas all over the hospital and has a DVD of the videos. Sam comes upon Morris and Frank looking at this DVD and recognizes herself and Gates, and then points it out to Gates. But so far, no one else has recognized them. Apparently, Gates tries to steal the surveillance DVD but steals the wrong one, and the "sex" DVD is shown at a joint trauma conference presentation by Morris. Sam and Gates are there, mortified as the others recognize them. But it doesn't seem to slow Sam and Gates down. At the end of the episode Gates remembers to put his jacket over the camera.
Neela's patient, Sheryl, is in the ICU and the prognosis is not good. Here is where we finally learn about Sheryl's condition from the earlier spoilers. From Cinefaythe's summary back then: by this time, Sheryl has been in the hospital a month--so long that she knows Neela's schedule by heart and senses when Neela is not being truthful. Neela breaks the news that Sheryl has a bacterial infection that has invaded her aortic graft and is being pumped around her body. Neela says the aorta will likely tear again. Sheryl is going to die.
In another scene, Sheryl is visited by her son and her husband. Sheryl is genuinely grateful for the time Neela bought her. She is resolved to cherish every last minute of her life. Her son videotapes their visit, and Neela offers to take a shot of the three of them. As she does, Sheryl's husband breaks down and weeps into his wife's lap and Sheryl bravely consoles him, while Neela fights tears.
Pratt brings Betina home after her surgery and gets her settled on the couch.
At the start of the episode, Abby is awake before the alarm goes off and notices the empty place in the bed. She calls someone to see if they wanted to have an early dinner but whomever it is cannot make it. Abby then goes to a second interview with another medical facility that is modern, clean, sterile and organized. It seems as if Abby has told them she will take the job. But near the end of the episode, Pratt has talked to Anspaugh and introduces Abby to the rest of the staff as County's newest attending.

"At the start of the episode, Abby is awake before the alarm goes off and notices the empty place in the bed."
'Lana' huh? Interesting choice of name...
I will be disappointed if they end Luka and Abby's storyline by having them split up permanently. In any event, happy ending or not for 'Luby', no Luka in Season 15, no San watching.
I have no plans right now to add ER season 15 to my DVD collection... just 6 through 14 for me.

I really don't believe the intent is to break Luby up. It would be ridiculous and counterproductive and it would absolutely deter the show from going out with dignity. I don't think that's the plan. Perhaps Luby will just work at their marriage ... it's certainly not tragic, nor is it a phoney riding off into the sunset after an infidelity. Apparently, that only happens in real life!!! Hee ...

I want a Happy Ending!!!!! I don't want just a small scene , like Carol and Doug ( It' was beautiful , but too short ) , It would be amazing if they make a couple of episodes just about luby!

I´m glad they hired Abby. Sounds like full cicle: student, resident and attending.
Does it means MT will be on season 15?
This story of Gates/Sam remind me of Weaver. She would fire both. Oh, I miss Kerry.
edit to add random thought:
Abby then goes to a second interview with another medical facility that is modern, clean, sterile and organized.
I can see Abby working in County or Mercy, but not a place like this one (well, maybe she gets the job after all - just to fix MT departure).
I don´t know how nor when, but I still believe Luka/Abby will be together.

From AEB
About the phone conversation
Luka cant of course because Goran is not in the eppy. The coversation in writing is a bit longer than I had expected but once spoken can go fast. She calls him at 6.15 he puts her on hold because he has another call, she mentions he works pretty early she thinks it great , i got the imporession that he cant make the dinner but another time and she say that no that its ok that she has that interview during the morning and she tells him her plan for the day interview ... spend time with Joe and if he wants an early dinner which he cant. so its obvious they have been talking and he knows whats going on with her as she does with him.

Lana? Tandem repeats? They've got to be kidding.
And I'm still wondering where does Zabel's : "It's not a tragic ending but there will be a shocking reveal." will fit.

I really hope this isn't the shocking reveal. I really am fed up with the writers, especially Zabel. What happened to going back to the storylines ER fans know and love best? These are totally not it. I'm not even looking forward to a season 15 now.

Neela’s patient Sheryl is getting sicker and fluid is building in her lungs. Her son continues to film, and they are posting her experiences on a blog. Late in the episode Dubenko and Neela watch a bit of it. Neela is upset that an attending was not present during some event that morning, but Dubenko says the outcome would have been the same.
Lana has a close call and and Abby pulls her out of it. Max, Lana's father, looks on from outside the room. The love for his child begins to overtake his anger.
Later, Abby tells Max that people cannot help who they are. Sometimes they hurt us and do things we don't understand. But if you love them you try to get past all that, she says--especially when they need you. Max gives in and agrees to donate part of his liver if he is a match.
Morris and Pratt share a quiet moment outside. Pratt tells Morris that Betina is all right but the total colectomy she had is a major deal. Morris commends him for going back to her. Pratt says it is scary but he is not scared of being scared. He says he thinks back about losing his mom.
Brenner is unfazed by Laverne's threat to get him in trouble and smugly answers that she'd be the student with the reputation for sleeping with attendings then ratting them out. From C&P
