Rike, we're counting on you guys for recaps and pics, so don't get yourselves thrown out! LOL I love that the first preview night is on her birthday. Might be cool if everyone wanted to send her a card or a note. I'm sure the theatre would see that she got them. Just send an email to the theatre asking if they pass on fanmail to the performers. If they do, the cards and letter should get to Maura.

I envy all of you! I wish I could come too and be a part of all of this. You all are going to have a wonderful time, and not just the Maura part, but the part where all of you are together.
Will someone make sure to tell Maura that I was so sad that she isn't/wasn't going to be at The Wooster Group event, and I wished I could have seen her again? But I am still going!!
Can't wait for you guys to go so i can hear all about your wonderful journey! xoxo

The theatre says they will be happy to see that she gets any mail sent to her there. So if anyone wants to send a note or a card, you can do so here:

The guy who manages their box office and responds to all their emails is super nice. As you said, he doesn't seem to be sick of us - yet LOL

PHOTO CALL: Maura Tierney Rehearses God of Carnage at Dublin's Gate Theatre
By Matthew Blank 19 Jan 2011
Former "ER" star Maura Tierney is currently in rehearsals for a new staging of Yasmina Reza's award-winning God of Carnage at the Gate Theate in Dublin, Ireland.
The Gate bills the play this way: "Two sets of parents meet to resolve a conflict between their two children. What is supposed to be a civilized meeting turns into a barrage of name calling, tantrums and tears. In this hysterical comedy when the gloves come off, dirty laundry is aired and the grownups find themselves in their own playground."
She will be joined onstage by Owen Roe, Donna Dent and Ardal O'Hanlon. Alan Stanford directs.
Here is a look at the cast in the rehearsal room:

Tierney played the role of Abigail "Abby" Lockhart on "ER" for nearly ten season, earning an Emmy nomination. Other screen credits include "Newsradio," "Rescue Me," "Liar Liar" and "Scotland, PA."
God of Carnage will play the Gate Theatre Feb. 3 through March 26.

Very welcome, Stephen - I think it'd be nice for her to get some birthday love from her loyal Lubies. Hopefully she'll go on Turbridy again to promote the play.
