Those of you going to Dublin might enjoy this particular recap that was posted on the Gate's FB page today, especially the last paragraph: Saw God of Carnage on Tuesday & Wednesday and loved it. It's a great show and the cast are all brilliant. I recommend you go see it if you haven't already, it's really funny. It was my first time there and it's a beautiful theatre. You can see and hear everything clearly and even get the chance to talk with the cast afterwards in the ...bar. The staff are so friendly and helpful too, especially Vincent. I'll come back to the Gate next time I'm in Dublin!
For Maura followers, she gave an awesome performance and after the show was so kind & friendly with her fans. She took the time to make sure everyone got photos, signitures and the chance to speak with her. Thanks, I'll never forget it

I wish we could hear from more people who've seen the show and met her afterwards - so glad that person kindly posted on the Gate's page where we could all enjoy hearing yet again what a gracious person Maura is.

Hi! Its been soo many years since I've been a Maura fan and I finally got to meet her on Monday night! I had front row seats at the play which was brilliant very funny and it was almost surreal to see Maura in person. Afterwards I was the only person hanging round to speak to Maura. She came out of a door smiled at me and then shook my hand said it was nice to meet me and than we had a long conversation. Afterwards I went to the bar with her (there was only a few people in the bar) and we had a drink. Such an amazing experience, the only thing is that I didnt get a picture of ask her to sign anything....just didnt feel right but anyway the conversation was amazing, yey!

Maura has to be near the top of the list of fan friendly celebrities. I think she is from the "old school" when it comes to meeting fans, back in the golden era of hollywood, the stars felt it was part of the job to meet and sign for fans. Hopefully Maura stays that fan friendly.

oh man, things like that bring me back to life! seeing her in the play on stage for 90 minutes will be an absolute overdose already and then to think that we wouldn't have to really kidnap her for a drink or do anything illegal... ^.^

Hopefully Maura stays that fan friendly. Well, her father was a politician so I think she got used to meet/talk to strangers since young age. Man, I would be afraid of get drunk in front of her and do/say something stupid.

I was sober in front of her and felt like everything I did and said was stupid LOL Being drunk might actually help me next time.

this is why I said we should visit the Guinness factory first!! well, it's just a joke ^^ or we can try to steal the whiskey from the stage... though I doubt it's real whiskey ^.^
