Hi Guys, Does anyone know if there is any difference between the episode shown on NBC and CTV (Canada), not major difference but some minor ones. Maybe like a scene shown on NBC is not shown on CTV or vice versa.

i dont live in USA or Canada but i do live in the Uk and download episodes form the US. There is no difference between them so i dont think there would be differences between where they are shown, why really would they need to be different

I'm not sure on Canada, but I do know that I've watched eps here on Australian TV after downloading the US version and they have cut bits out before.

We don't even get promo here. And nobody watches the show, so nobody cares... 3 of us who watch, download it from the internet. But the episodes we had were slightly cut. How do they decide which parts should be cut out?!

In the states when the play reruns on TNT they cut things out to make room for more commercials. Whoever edits them, I think tries to remove things that don't alter the main storyline. Sometimes it's for content too, like they'll cut out something that's really bloody or for language.

I don't remember in which episode exactly that was, but I know they cut out the part where Abby is afraid of leaving the baby in the supermarket. And in 'I don't' the cut out the part with Pratt's speech. I hate it when they cut out something that was good.

That was If Not Now.
In an older episode with Dr. Dave, they left out a whole scene where Corday yells at Abby and Dave. It was a good scene because she tells Dave how much the other doctors think he's such a horrible doctor.

I think that, at least in Croatia, whoever cuts the scenes out is not competent enough to do it. If he never watched the show, some things, as that yelling, might be unimportant to him. But there are little things that make show as good as it is. I remember we didn't have scene when Abby and Luka find out the results of amniocentesis. We didn't have the scene where Kerry says goodbye to Luka. And I think those scenes where really good ones, showing how good those character interact. Uh, I hate Croatian television...
