Okies, I named this thread "Fanvideo Help" but it isn't exactly for a fanvideo. Well, it could be...but anways. I might try and make a video if I can work out how to do what I am asking. My question is does anyone know how to rip clips from DVD's? Do you need a specific program to do it? If so, do you know what it is and where I could find it?
Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Molly xXx

Thanks, Molly xXx I use Windows Movie Maker to make clips from downloaded AVI files, but I'm not sure if that works for DVDs. For the AVIs you just import the file, it takes about 10 minutes to sort it into little sections and you put them together to make clips. I imagine that's how some people do fanvids as well...

But is that how you rip clips from DVD's? How would I go about doing that? I know how to import clips if the episode or clip is already stored on my laptop but I have no idea how'd I rip it from a DVD.
