They are supposed to be in Chicago people.....and if they were shooting facial close ups I can imagine that she would want something more comfortable on her feet. Loving seeing Susan again.....and her hair!

From E online: (Kirstin) "Morgan in Seattle: I've heard rumors that Parminder Nagra is leaving ER before the series finale. Please tell me this isn't true! We heard the same thing, but sources close to the show tell me that while her last "big episode" called "Shifting Equilibrium," airs March 19, Neela does appear in the remaining episodes of ER, which I'm guessing means they won't leave her out of the April 2 series finale." and posted over at aeb.com: www.spokesman.com/stories/2009/mar/01/belle-star-takes-break-to-return-to-er-for-finale/

They have SO many stars and returning cast coming in for the last two episodes that it wouldn't surprise me a bit to not see Maura, Goran or Paraminder in the actual episodes beyond 20. There is supposed to be a retrospective though, right. We'll probably see them all in that.

hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2009/03/er-final-episod.html 'ER' final episodes: Doug reunites with Carol...and Dr. Benton? When George Clooney left ER in 1999, executive producer John Wells began to conceive the series finale of his NBC drama. Okay, maybe he was a tad premature, but he realized that it was quite possible that all of ER's original cast members would eventually jump ship (as they did) and he wanted to be prepared. And he insists that his plans for the two-hour finale on April 2 at 9 p.m. (preceded by a one-hour retrospective) haven't changed much over the past decade. "I really wanted to say to the audience, 'This place is still here, and if you took the wrong off-ramp in Chicago, you'd end up in front of the hospital where these people have always worked,'" says Wells, who penned the final episode, which is currently shooting in Los Angeles. Actually, the long good-bye to County General has been going on since November: Early cast members Noah Wyle (Dr. Carter), Laura Innes (Dr. Weaver), and Anthony Edwards (Dr. Greene) have already guest-starred. And Clooney -- whose return as Dr. Doug Ross is one of the worst-kept secrets in TV -- will be joined by costars Julianna Margulies (Nurse Hathaway) and Eriq La Salle (Dr. Benton) for much-anticipated cameo appearances throughout March sweeps. Wells won't say exactly when we'll see them (nor will NBC confirm reports that Clooney will appear March 12), but he does suggest that fans set their TiVos ASAP. "You should not expect them all to be in the finale," warns Wells. "We've spread them out over the season. I didn't want to do something like somebody dies, or there is a celebration, or the hospital closes, so that's why everybody comes back. I wanted it to be natural." He'll confirm one star for the finale: Wyle, the one original cast member who has appeared in the most episodes of ER. For more about ER -- including how it almost got pink-slipped by NBC before it went on the air in 1994 -- check out the latest issue of EW.

As stated in the above article, there has been no clarification that either Maura or Goran are returning. We have seen Maura's image in several promos which is a clue that SHE may be back. There is a 'project' announcement on the Gonzalez twins web site that THEIR next appearance on ER is in episode 20 of the last season. One must assume that Maura and/or Goran will be appearing with him in that episode since they could hardly bring a little kid back without his parent(s).

I think it's a definite that Joe is coming back because the owner of the boys website said they were definitely in the episodes and she would be posting information about the episode closer to the air date. AND Abby has been appearing in the promos as a returning characters, so we are to guess she is coming back.
If Maura does come back, then that was one well kept secret!
That video is so nice. The cast of ER are so charitable and giving. It's an amazing thing to be a part of. Thanks for the clip.
