Here's a new story. I hope you like it. it has nothing to do with my other stories. It's based on the Alabama song "In Pictures."
Synopsis: Luka and Abby didn't get together after she found out she was pregnant. She had a baby girl named Adaline her nickname is Addy. She's four years old. Addy lives with Abby and Luka get's her every other weekend.
Here it goes I hope you like it.
I've got her photograph on a stand by my bed
two on the mantle and thousands in my head
I can't believe how fast she's growing
it ain't supposed to be like this
everytime I look at her I see how much I've missed
Abby walked down the hall to Addy's bedroom. She pulled her robe tighter around her as she walked. She pushed the door open and walked inside. The night light in the corner of the room made the room orange. Abby walked over to the bed and sat down next to her. She leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Addy, sweetie. It's time to get up." Abby said brushing the stray hairs from her face. Addy rolled over and faced her.
"I'm tired mommy."
"I know sweetie, but daddy will be here soon to get you." Addy sat up and rubbed her eyes. Abby walked over to her dresser and pulled out a shirt and some shorts. She helped Addy get dressed and fixed her some breakfast.
Luka stood in the doorway of Addy's bedroom. It was painted pink and had posters of the Disney Princesses on the walls. He walked into the room and over to her dresser. There were pictures all along the top of the dresser. Some of just Addy some of her and Abby and some of her and Luka. He picked up a picture of her and Abby from her fourth birthday party. Abby held back her hair as she blew out the candles. Her Cinderella crown falling off to the side of her head. He smiled to himself before placing it back down on the dresser. He turned off the light as he walked out of the room. He grabbed his keys from the table by the door and headed off to Abby's apartment.
Luka paused a moment before knocking on the door. He heard Addy running over to the door. "Hi, daddy." She had Abby's smile.
"Hi, baby." He said picking her up and giving her a kiss. Addy wiped it away with her hand. Abby walked into the room.
"Hi."
"Hi. I've just got to pack a few more things."
"Alright." Luka watched as she walked out of the room. He still loved her. He loved her from the moment he saw her. He wished that she felt the same way. Luka took a seat on the couch. Addy sat on his lap talking about one of the shows on Noggin. Abby walked back into the room carrying Addy's Princess suitcase. She handed it to Luka. She bent to to be eye level with her daughter.
"Bye, mommy. I love you." Addy said wrapping her arms around Abby's neck.
"I love you too. I'll see you on Sunday."
"Okay." She took Luka's hand. "Come on daddy." She said pulling him to the door. He smiled. He grabbed her suitcase as she pulled him.
"See you Sunday."
"Bye."
"Bye." Abby watched him being pulled by Addy with the wheeled suitcase rolling behind him. She smiled to herself and shut the door.
So what do you think?
