I know I already have 2 fics running but I can't help it. It's just rolling out of my brain. (SORRY!!!!)
“Name?” The woman behind the desk asks. “Abigail Wyzcenski.” I answer. “Age?” “19” “Right your in room 365. Your roommate is already in.” And she hands me over my key.
Today is my first day at high-school. Mom let me go and I told her to phone if she needed me. I left my younger brother Eric with her, hope she can cope with him. And I will pray every night for her to stick on her meds.
The door is open when I approach it. “Hello.” I say before walking in. “It’s open. Come in.” A friendly voice says. “Hey I’m Abigail. Call me Abby.” I introduce myself to the girl. “Hi nice too meet you Abby! My name is Susan. Call me Suz.” She looks nice. I start unpacking and making the bed.
“So where are you from?” Susan asks. “Minnesota. You?” “I grew up right here in Chicago. What do you want when you finish here?” “Wow we need to start first! But I would love to go to med-school. And you?” “Cool me too!” She laughs at me.
“Hey Abby hold up I’ll walk with you.” It’s Susan who’s running behind me. “Sorry I could have asked.” “No sorry. It’s ok.” And we walk further.
In the school cafeteria its real loudly. We order dinner and start looking for a table. All the tables are taking and there’s only one table left that could suit us. Susan walks over to the boy who’s sitting all by him self. “Hey. Could we share this table?” She asks. “Sure grab a chair.” I laugh. “Why are you laughing at me?” The boy asks. “It’s grab a seat not grab a chair.” He sighs and I feel terrible.
“What’s your name?” Susan asks him when he’s staring at me. “Luka.” “Weird name.” “I’m from Croatia. What are your names?” And he looks at both of us. “I’m Susan and this is Abigail.” She explains him. “Abby!” I whisper in Susan her ear. “She prefers to be called Abby by the way.” Susan explains when he’s gazing.
We talk a little and he blinks his eyes at me when our eyes cross.
“Wow he’s hot!” Susan says when we leave him. “Yeah just a little.” I say when I blush all the way up to my ears.
