With ending 'She's back' it was a bit empty in my days I filled with writing so I started a new one.
Hope you like it.

A night to forget.
Abby walked into the ER-lounge to get her coat and go home. It was a long night and she had worked her bud of with three nurses down with the flew and Luka being a pain in the ass.
"How was your shift?" Susan asks when Abby walks in. "Probably just as horrible as yours.
Have you seen that awful look on Luka his face? God I had to watch the whole night." Abby exclaims when she puts her jacket on. "Poor you. I was stuck with a maniac in exam three for 2 hours. He made me do all test possible. But yeah Luka looked bad. Coffee and breakfast? My treat." Susan suggests when she sees Abby’s look. "I need coffee." And they walk out to leave the night the night and meet a new day.
"What’s on your mind?" Susan asks Abby when they are joining there strong coffee. "Just nothing. It’s nothing." Abby shakes her head. ‘Nothing I can talk about.’ Abby thinks. "Ok. So why the sad look?" Susan asks again. "Nothing. Really there is nothing going on." Abby says while she looks in her coffee instead of looking at Susan. "Ok." Susan says and takes a sip. ‘Why can’t she be honest with me?’ She thinks while she is looking at Abby who’s far away in her thoughts. "Hey girls." It’s Luka who pops his head around the corner. "Hey. Are you off?" Susan asks him. "Yeah. Hey Abby." Luka tries to get her attention. "O. Hey. Sorry." Abby stammers. "Rough shift?" Luka asks her. "Hm? O yeah. Sorry I need to go home." Abby says when she looks up. "But Abs you haven’t touched your breakfast!" Susan says when Abby walks away. "Next time Sus!" Abby says and shuts the door.
"What up with her?" Luka asks Susan after Abby left them. "I don’t know. She’s just not herself." Susan answers. "Right. Well I’m going to take a nap. Catch you tonight. Bye."
The next night Abby doesn’t come in at work and both Susan and Luka are worried. "She looked so distance last night in Ike’s. I really wonder what is going on. Will it be bad or will it be good." Susan says to Luka when they’re standing at the desk. "With Abby it’s always bad." They hear someone say. "Who said that?" Luka says and turns around to look who’s standing behind them. It’s John Carter. "Well that’s what you can call a friend." Susan says to him and walks away. She hears the two men having some words but Kerry comes between them and stops it by telling them something. She can’t hear it but it must been bad cause Luka runs away outside and John runs away to the lounge. ‘I don’t want to know. If it’s about Abby she’ll find me.’ Susan thinks and starts working on a patient.
"Susan can I talk to you?" Kerry asks when Susan is in exam three working on a girl who had to an overdose. "In a minute Kerry I’m busy." Susan replies. "Right. I’ll meet you in the lounge." Kerry says and leaves Susan with her patient. Minutes later Susan opens the door of the lounge to find Kerry, Luka and John sitting on the couch.
"What’s going on?" Susan asks them. "It’s about Abby. Take a seat." Kerry says and points at the chair. "Is she ok?" Susan asks when she’s feeling a bit awkward. "Not really. She’s been attacked last night when she was on her way home. She’s hospitalize in Mercy but they are transporting her to us when she’s stabile." Kerry tells Susan. "Stabile? So it’s bad isn’t it?" Susan asks. "She had a surgery, they had to remove one of her kidney’s and she had several blood transplantations. She’s still in a coma." Kerry says when she walks over to Susan who’s almost ready to start crying. "God. Why her?" Susan sighs. "Things happen without a reason Susan." Luka says. "And I’m sorry for what I said earlier. I had no idea." John says. But all Susan can think of is poor Abby. "Did they get the guy?" She asks. "No." Kerry says and holds Susan her hand. "You’re allowed to visit her Susan. I think it’s best if you go now." Kerry says, knowing she didn’t tell the whole story. "Right. But I’m with the EL. Could someone drive me?" She asks and looks at Luka. "Sure I can drive you if that’s ok with Kerry." Luka says and looks at Kerry. "Yeah go." She says and so they do.
Hope you like it.
