Man! I can't believe I've never read this before! It rocks! Beautifully written and the transitions between the existing dialogue and your own material are almost seamless! Great work - update soon!

Sorry this took so long everyone. A lot of random stuff came up in both my and Abby's lives, and that took priority. . Anyway, we're back now, and we come bearing an update!!Abby found herself sitting on the cold, hard table of the abortion clinic. She nodded through the doctor’s explanation of the procedure; this wasn’t the first time she’d had to do this. “Um, can we just get this over with?” she asked. “Are you sure, Mrs. Lockhart?” the doctor replied, making eye contact for the first time since he had entered the room. “It’s Dr. Lockhart, and yes, I’m sure,” Abby sighed. The doctor nodded, and Abby felt a stabbing pain between her legs. She inhaled deeply and leaned back, preparing herself for the inevitable. It wasn’t until almost 20 minutes later that the full impact of her actions hit her. Abby’s stomach knotted into another cramp as she walked out of the clinic. The doctor had told her to walk around, and Abby decided it couldn’t hurt to do so. She stopped at Starbucks’ and grabbed a latte; it was a cold day and she couldn’t bring herself to go home. “Goddamn it, watch where you’re going!” Abby shouted later when yet another person walked into her. “What am I, invisible?!” she muttered under her breath. Bracing herself against the cold, Abby walked down to a park by the lake, continuing on until she found an empty bench, which wasn’t hard considering the temperature. She played with her scarf and thought about what she’d just done. For a second time, motherhood had stared her in the face, and Abby was the first to blink, running in the other direction. Abby was staring out at the water when a voice startled her from behind. “Went by your place, but I though you went home this way…” Abby turned to discover Luka looming above her. “I don’t want everything we have to come down to this one decision,” he paused before continuing, “we can get past it. You did what you had to do. That doesn’t mean we can’t be together.” “I’m sorry, Luka. I know you wanted this baby, but I don’t want it. No, I can’t want it. It’s best for everyone this way.” Abby bit her lip as she explained it all. Luka sat beside her and took her hand. He peeled back her glove and gently laid his lips against the back of her hand, lingering for only a moment. Abby knew it was only a courtesy gesture; had he really meant it that kiss would have been somewhere else. Had her one decision really changed everything between them?

Natalie and Abby, that's so sad and heartbreaking, but written with a lot of emotion. I don't know what to expect next. It will be so difficult for both of them. The title "Forget Regret" is absolutely perfect.
I hope,Abby that you are feeling better and better. This is so nice to keep writing. Thank you.

Hi everyone!! I know Nat already apologized for not updating, but I just wanted to. For those of you who don't know I was in a bad accident a week ago, and it put a delay on some things. Well I'm feeling fine now, so here is an update for all of you!
That night Abby had laid awake in bed thinking about everything that had happened that day. She glanced over at Luka and noticed him starring up at the ceiling. She sighed as she turned her head to do the same. Luka hasn’t spoken a word to her since she had told him that she’d gone through with the termination. After she broke the news, they sat together for a while, thinking about the gravity of her choice. Then they walked back to his apartment, and Luka prepared dinner, but neither he nor Abby could force themselves to eat. Without a word Luka had cleared the table and gone to the bathroom to take a shower. Abby paced outside the bathroom door trying to decide whether or not to go in to talk to him. The silence was starting to get to her. Soon enough she found herself opening the door and walking inside. “Luka…We need to talk about this,” Abby said, leaning against the doorframe. “Not right now, Abby,” Luka bit his bottom lip fighting back tears. He listened as Abby walked out of the bathroom and shut the door behind her. He leaned against the wall and let his tears flow as freely as the water from the shower. Luka opened the bathroom door and noticed all the lights were out. When he walked into him room he could see Abby lying on her side with her back toward him. He turned off his lamp and climbed into bed. “Please tell me I did the right thing…” Abby whispered rolling over to look at Luka. “You did what you had to do.” Luka said emotionless rolling away from her. Abby laid on her back and, placing one hand on her stomach, let the tears she’d fought so hard to keep back finally fall, streaming down her face.
