I was soo restless tonight, I just needed to write badly. This little story just popped up in my mind so I guess I´m posting it. I got inspiration from one importent scene, maybe one of the best, or most "longed-for"scenes. I just wished that the writers could have entered more deeply into conversation between our favorite couple. As Abby said "I know we don´t say it..."
Well I´ll think it´s time they DO!

He found her standing in front of her living room window, wrapped only in the bed sheet. The morning sunlight streamed through the open blinds, enveloping her in it's warmth. Her eyes were closed, face tilted into the sun's rays. She looked calm, and yet her shoulders looked stiff. He wished he could take the uncertan feeling away from her petit form.
He took a step closer. A squeak of the floorboards beneath his bare feet alerted her to his presence. She turned, and his breath caught in his throat.
So beautiful...dark chocolate hair, messy from sleep, creamy white skin, and sparkling brown eyes.
Abby smiled at him. One of those rare, "just-for-you" ones that he treasured.
He could tell she wanted to speak. *Needed* to. But when she opened her mouth, the words just weren't there. Right this moment it seemed that he had them all.
"Well good morning. Tell me, how'd you sleep last night?" he asked.
Abby grinned, blushed and looked down, suddenly interested in her feet.
Abby glided slowly toward him on bare feet, taking in his sleep-rumpled form, from his soft brown hair standing on end...to his bare chest...to his black silk boxers...all the way down his long, lean legs. Her right hand was clasped at her breasts, holding up the sheet that trailed behind her. She stopped at a safe distance still looking at her small feet.
Lukas left hand reached out and touched her chin, urging her head up to look him in the eye.
"You're still smiling, so we must have done something right," he said with an answering grin.
