Did anyone think the lullabye played near the end of "Into the Woods" was hummed by Luca's late wife?
It was so beautiful. It hinted at star-cross love or of Romeo and Juliet when they first saw each across the room. Timeless love. I wonder what she was like.
I also wish they'd play again....have Luca look across a starry sky and have the whisper of that song play subtely in the background as he's transported through time....and his memories.

Do you talk about the epy in season 7 "A walk in the woods?" I looked for the final song... Is it right? where did you see it?

Do you talk about the epy in season 7 "A walk in the woods?" I looked for the final song... Is it right? where did you see it? Yup. You hit the nail on the head. It was season seven and Luca's patient was dying priest whose beliefs of God and salvation finally brought Luca to a place where he could look back and relive the darkest day of his life (the death of his wife and children). "Into the Woods" was the episode in which I first heard the song and it's driving me batty ever since. I still wonder who wrote it.

I was watching "Beyond Repair" today, the epy about Abby's B day. At the end of the epy, she is going home on a snowy night from having had a horrible day, and they played this "Lullaby" song! I was just thinking if it ties together with Luka's snowy night in "Into the Woods" or have they played that song in other episodes as well. Does any else know what I'm talking about?

I think it's just a sad song they used to create a certain mood...

The episode was called "A Walk In The Woods", not "Into The Woods".

The episode was called "A Walk In The Woods", not "Into The Woods". Damn, and here I thought you had something interesting to say, since you analyze things so well, but thanks anyways.

I don't think there's much to analyse. Danijela never crossed my mind and hasn't since, and I'm not really one for linking the use of music and images from episodes from so long ago that only a handful of people are likely to remember the fine detail.
I think they had a piece of quasi spiritual/religious sounding music they liked and reused it.
