" I'm happy with JOE and my family in Croatia " is very violent to hear.
I was wondering during that scene if he said that Joe is happy in Croatia just to hurt her. It's obvious that even if there is a lot of emotions when they met at this moment that Luka is angry. He can be angry after her but I can't imagine that Joe is totally happy without his mom, with a family he doesn't know that much...
And I'm sorry for poor Dr Coburn, but I love the way Luka yelled at her, as if she was Abby. the interactions she has with Abby in all the epi are very interesting and beautiful, it reminds me when Abby was pregnant and Coburn said her "whatever you decide it gonna be the right thing..."

That was the whole point. He was practically sceaming that he's hurt and he wanted her to hear him. He also said that he's happy. Did he look happy? I'd say not. He is hurt and angry and has any right to it. He also came all that way to see her (because really - that whole County thing was just so that he wouldn't sound so pathetic).

The airport scene where they are both dressed in such dark colors is a contrast to "Dying is easy" where she says "Ask me again..ask me to marry you" and they are both in such light colors. Seems so long ago that they got married

Well, Luka saying that terrified me. I was sure he was going to tell her to go straight to you know where if she tried to take Joe from him.
Overnight ratings: At 10 p.m., CBS' "Without a Trace" dominated the hour with a 9.8/16. "ER," 5.2/9, finished second for NBC, beating out "Eli Stone," 4.0/7, on ABC.

i thought maura's scenes were amazing. God that woman can act! i really felt for her and how she feels she's been given all her chances...brought me back to abby normal when she said she shuts down and gives up when things get tough..u could see she was so tempted to run away and not be faced with the possibility of losing luka and joe. the flashbacks were really good, reminded me of how great a couple luby were, they've brought so much to ER. luka at the end=hot hot hot! hair salon!
reeeeally hate that new doctor. i mean come on, could they not get an english actor? they need to sack their voice coach- every non-native englander sounds like they've just stepped of the pirates of the caribbean!
i liked the morris storyline. really love neela, if they can give lost of storytime of her and not gates that would be good. although that sony scene was certainly steamy! wasnt as grossed out as i thought i would be!
hhooooooooooooooooooooooow cute was it they still have the snowglobe?!!!!
also i disagree- abby drinking at work is a complete shocker- she's a doctor and she compramised a childs care (dont u remember harold cutting the boys chest open?!) as much as i've disliked sam this season she totally had a reason to be mad, her priority is the patients.
i am LOVING the luby time! hope its happier next week!
thanks soo much amanda, really appreciate being able to watch it!

I did really enjoy this episode as well. Although we never got to see if Abby really told Luka about the Moretti situation, the airport scene made up for it. I really also loved the flashbacks...I was crying (reliviing my fave Luby moments!).
But...I cannot believe that Abby drank at work and compromised patient care. I seem to believe that the writers decided to add that in.
Anyway, I'm still crossing my fingers for Luby though. I don't know whether or not she'll tell him, but I think she will. This is going to be one heck of a season.

I loved this episode. Hands down, it was the best episode of the season!! The acting by maura and Goran was outstanding. I loved the flashbacks from various seasons, it truly felt like this was an episode made for the fans. But I do agree, other than the Abby-Coburn and Abby-Luka scenes, there was nothing else worth watching.

The writers have really thought about the Luby fans in this eppie but why did it take them so long? Personally, i think they've been watching some of the fan videos on Youtube. The ending is so similar to video i would make in fact am already making one!! and doesn't Abbys new hair colour bring back memories of season 12?

I agree that this was the best epi of the season. I loved how they showed the flashbacks. I wanted to cry when Luka was being mean while visiting Abby in rehab. The scenes with Coburn were good, I enjoyed seeing them interact and how she is trying to help Abby. I loved the scene with Pratt stunning Morris. I almost felt bad for Morris. They could have left the Sam and Gates scene out at the end I didn't really care to see it.

I kinda enjoyed this episode It's nice to have the show back My only trouble = Sam and Gates This is just soooo ;D And they were "doing it" with a great song on the background ( Mercy by Duffy) . The new doc seems to be a pain in the a** but I love his debut (not the actual first scene that was ridiculous) but his interaction with Pratt I think a relation between these 2 would be interesting to follow. And of course the Luby scenes were great even if it's difficult to see the tension. I found Luka's speech to Janet very moving, it was like he was shouting at Abby cause he so wants to know. The last scene was great but there's so much they have to do to be happy again And I'm so with you Zelda: Luka & shades

I watched again all the LUBY scenes and I think that the road to recovery and happiness will be very very bumpy. Of course, when he sees her at the airport, he holds her very tight and we all see the love on his face. But did you notice that it's the only moment in the epi when he is smiling ? While he was driving, I think he had exactly the same face as in last season when he said goodbye to Abby and Mongojoe. A very sad face, even though Luka with glasses always does it for me. And I wanted to add something I didn't really notice the first time, the close up on Abby's face shows how TERRIFIED she is. Thank you Zabel ( I had nearly decapitated the guy! ) to show us how difficult it will be for them " to find each other" and Abby will need a lot of soulsearching and moral strength. And now ready for the horrible moment we'll get about YETI MORETTI, girls ? But.Abby.has.no.other.choice.now.than.tell.Luka. I am expecting wonderful LUBY acting even though it will be hard to watch. ( hope Zabel will SHOW the scene!)We are all wide awake after a snoring season!

I still think she isn't going to tell him. I think Luka will find out about Moretti 'accidently'...maybe hear Abby and the Yeti talking/arguing...maybe Moretti will say something to him (after which I hope he knocks his block off...YAY!)....whatever. That's the only reason I can think of that they are bringing the Tooch back. He serves no other purpose at this point.

If it's confirmed that they are bringing Stanley Tucci back, then any speculation in regards to this should probably be in the spoiler section. I didn't know he was coming back and would prefer not to be spoiled any further. Thanks.

I have finished watching the eppy just NOW... Saturday at 7:00pm... yeah it's pathetic but my daughter is beginning her 2 months test at school and we've been studying together.
Anyway, back to business...
I think this episode was full of LUBY as we (LUBY Fans) all expected, we've got a gift from Zabel with all the flashbacks and the reminders that LUBY will get through this.
I've enjoyed each and every single scene of Abby, Luka and Luby. The ability of Maura to make us feel what Abby is being through its just a bless, thanks God for this talented actress, just when I think she's blown my mind... there she comes again to make my heart ache as the song of those scenes said. Her nervousness of actually going there after how hurt Luka reacted in his visit to the Rehab Center, all the talk with Janet and finally going to Croatia in the arms of the man she loves, it was all great played. Even we didn't see the same reaction of "Coming home", with all that both are going through, I think the scene at the airport between both of them was really touching.
About other scenes... I loved mature Pratt, I loved how he was telling the new attending to actually TEACH in a Teaching Hospital, I LMAO with the electroshock scene, Morris was being Morris and that's the fun part of the show.
The ugly part of the show was... as always... the no-chemistry couple... I don't understand why TPTB insists in trying too hard with those... its repulsive, disgusting and unnecessary, if I have to watch another couple hooking up I rather watch Neela and the new attending than Sam and Gates. Poor John Stamos trying to look like The Pretty... his poor attempt of Goran's grin is pathetic!!! Although I have to say when Stamos was in a scene in which Linda Cardellini wasn't involved he did good, not great just good.
These are for now my comments, I'm gonna watch the eppy again to see if I find more to comment about.
