Thanks you guys, here ya go!! ;DChapter 76 “Really?” Luka questioned slowly, making sure that his ears had not deceived him. Kelly and Jake nodded their heads. “I have been thinking about this a lot,” Jake told Luka, “And today, after we found out about Abby I made my choice. I should have done this sooner. I love Luke too much to do this too him. I was a fool to let my anger control me and hurt Luke.” Luka placed his hand over his heart, closed his eyes, and sighed a large sigh of relief. If only Abby could hear this. At the thoughts of his wife, tears pilled up behind his eye lids. “I don’t know how she is,” Luka admitted to Jake while tears made salty streams down his stained cheeks, “they kicked me out of her room.” Luka tried wiping away his tears, ashamed that he was crying openly in front of all of them. He took a jagged breath and sat back down on the floor, while the others just stood and waited. Susan felt her back pocket buzz. She pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and saw that she had seven missed calls from Neela. She smiled apologetically at Luka and the others as she went to answer her phone. “It’s Neela,” she told them unnecessarily, “she’s calling about the kids, probably.” Then Susan scooted out of the hallway and down to a free room, so that she wouldn’t be scolded by another doctor for talking on a cell phone in the hospital. “Luka,” Janet’s voice caused Luka to jerk. He turned and found her head poking through from Abby’s room. She slowly stepped out and closed the door behind her. The first thing that Luka did was assess her appearance for any clue to how Abby was doing. She looked exhausted from head to toe as if she had been working for many hours instead of just two. Her eyes did not have their normal vibrant glow and she wasn’t standing as upright as she normally did. However, Luka couldn’t tell if her appearance was because of Abby or just because she was plain tired. Luka bit the inside of his lip, before he gained the courage to question Janet about his wife. “How’s Abby?”

Thanks so much guys!! Here's the next update!! ;DChapter 77 Janet’s face fell lightly and Luka felt his entire world crash around him. The fear consuming his body must have been apparent on his face, because Janet quickly put on a small smile and shook her head. “Abby’s stable,” she told him as she placed her hand sweetly on his arm. “It’s been tough and she’s been through some rough patches, but she’s okay. She’ll need time to heal, but she is okay.” Luka finally felt like he could breathe. His wife was okay, his babies were okay, Jake and Kelly were not going to take Luke. Everything was okay. “Can I see her?’ He questioned hopefully. “Of course,” Janet said with a large smile. “She’s asleep, and she looks a lot worse than she is. It’s just the exhaustion. Poor thing’s been through a hell of a time,” Janet stated. “She sure has,” Luka agreed, before walking into Abby’s room. The room was dark, and Abby lay quietly on the bed. He made his way next to her and kissed her lightly on the forehead. He couldn’t tell anyone how great it felt just to kiss her. In just a couple short hours, he had missed her so terribly. Gently and as quietly as possible, he pulled a chair next to her bed. He took her right hand and began stroking it lightly. “Luka?” Abby murmured as she tried to get her eyes to adjust to room. Luka quickly sat up so that she could see him. “I’m right here, baby,” Luka reassured her running his hand through her hair. “I was so worried about you. I thought that I might lose you.” “Oh, you can’t get rid of me that quickly,” she lightly joked. A realization hit her and she attempted to sit up. However, Luka gently pushed her back down. “Not so fast, you need your rest,” Luka ordered her. “But, the baby? Is Lee okay? I don’t remember anything, really. What happened?” Abby fearfully asked. If she was this bad off, what did that mean for her son?

Thanks, new update..... ;DChapter 78 “Yes, Lee is just fine. I saw him, he looks strong. But there was something else…you don’t remember?” “Remember what?” Abby asked as she lightly shook her head. She really couldn’t remember anything. Everything was a large blur. “We have a baby girl, too. She was a hidden twin. We have twins. A girl and a boy and they are both beautiful.” Luka smiled as he saw a smile forming on Abby’s lips. “Twins?” She questioned happily. “How wonderful.” “I know, now Lexy will get that little sister she’s been wanting,” Luka said as he chuckled lightly. “I guess that means we won’t have to have any more babies.” “Definitely no more,” Abby replied. “I think we’re good. Four children, wow. I…I want to see the babies.” “Okay, let me go see what I can do,” Luka told her as he stood. He kissed her once again on the forehead before heading back into the hallway to ask Janet about taking Abby to see the babies. “How is she?” Jake asked Luka as he walked out of the room. Luka nodded. “She’s good,” he answered with a grin. Then he turned to Janet. “Abby wants to see the twins,” Luka told her. “Okay, I’ll fix it up so that we can bring them to her. I’d really rather she remains in bed for at least another day or so. I’ll be right back,” she reassured Luka. “Wait, I thought that you couldn’t move them out of the NICU until they were ready,” Luka questioned Janet as she made her way to the nursery. “Well, technically, they shouldn’t, but I can make arrangements,” she said with a wink. “They’ll be fine.” “I’m going to go back in there,” Luka told the others, just as Susan made her way back to the group. “How’s Abby?” “She’s good,” Luka told her with a smile. “How are the kids?” “The kids are fine. They are driving Neela insane, but they’re fine.” “Good.” “Hey, Luka,” Jake said, causing Luka to pause at the doorway. “Do you think, not now but later, that perhaps I can talk to Abby?”

Chapter 79 Luka walked back into Abby’s room and noticed that she was sleeping. She was probably exhausted, he thought. Slowly he made his way back to his chair. He just stared at her, loving seeing his wife before him. She was beautiful, truly beautiful. He was so grateful that he didn’t have to worry about life without her. He didn’t know if he could do it. She and the kids were his very existence. “Hey,” Janet whispered as she poked her head in. “Do you want me to bring the babies back later?” Luka looked over to Abby and then back to Janet. “No, she really wants so see them. I’ll wake her up. Go on and bring them in.” Janet led two nurses in quietly who were pushing incubators. “Abby,” Luka whispered as he gently pushed a stray hair out of her face. “Baby, the twins are here to visit their mommy. Come on, Ab’s.” Abby slowly opened her eyes. “The babies are here?” “Yes,” Janet told her as she rolled the little girl next to Abby’s bed. Abby touched the incubator and looked at her little girl. “Oh, she’s precious. Is, is she okay?” Abby looked questionably over at Janet. “Yes, she’s just a little small. She just needs to stay in there to keep warm and we’re feeding her with a feeding tube. But, she’s going to be just fine.” Abby sat up lightly so that she could get a better view of her daughter. “She needs a name,” Abby said as Janet brought the baby boy next to the girl. Abby looked lovingly into Lee’s incubator and smiled. He was beautiful, too. “Lee what are we going to name your sister?” “Well,” Luka intervened, sitting next to his wife. “It must start with an L or the poor thing will not fit in with the rest. Let’s see, we’ve got Luke, Lexy, Lee, and…hum... what are we going to name this baby?” “She’s beautiful, and she has a kind of classic look about her, don’t you think? Like a star from the 40s.” Abby commented. “She looks like she could be in a black and white movie. Who was a famous star from that decade whose name started with an ‘L’?” “Lana Turner?” Janet threw in. Abby smiled. “That’s it. This is Lana.” Abby looked into her daughter’s incubator and smiled at her. “What do you think, little girl? Does Lana fit you?” She turned to face Luka. “Do you like it?” “I do, it’s a beautiful name” “Well, Lana Kovac. It sounds classic doesn’t it?” “Very much so, she’ll be a classic beauty, I can tell. So, we have two new little ones.” “Yes, Lana and Lee. I’m so happy,” she said as she lay against Luka. A realization hit her and she turned to Luka. “The court date, we didn’t go. What’s going to happen?” Luka shook his head, as he took Abby’s hand. “Nothing to worry about. Jake dropped the case. No one is going to take away Luke away from us.” “Really?” “Really.” Abby sighed and smiled. “So I guess we do get our happy ending.”............ ?
